The Grinch sat waiting, wanting. There was a deep sorrow within his grinchy loins.
Then he heard it.
Clickity-clack from the rooftop.
He knew who it was
He knew what it was
A thump. A grunt. Then he was there.
The Grinch stood up and turned around. Sure enough, there he was. Just like clockwork, every year.
"Ho ho ho!" He cried sarcastically. "There's quite an abundance of Christmas cheer in this house."
"Cool it, Claus," The Grinch replied. "You don't scare me."
"Oh?" Santa said. He dropped the heavy, red sack full of toys onto the floor. "Really? I don't scare you?"
"You don't scare anybody, Claus," The Grinch told him. "A jolly, fat, old man like you only spreads happiness to everyone around the world. Nobody could be afraid of you."
Santa took a slow, step forward. Before The Grinch could realize it, he was getting closer and closer to him.
"You know, Grinchy..." Santa whispered seductively. "You realize I could scare you..."
Suddenly, Santa was so close to the Grinch that he leaned his head up further to his ear, whispering in it.
"If I really wanted to."
The Grinch sharply inhaled, suddenly feeling uncomfortable.
But uncomfortable in a good way?
At the same time, it was still way too much for the Grinch to handle. Him... and Santa? Right here, right now on Christmas Eve? Never in a million years could something like that work out.
Slowly, the Grinch took a few steps back, trying to move away from Santa without making it too noticeable.
"D-Don't you have presents to deliver?" The Grinch asked. "C-Come on. You can't disappoint all the children waiting all around the world."
"The children can wait," Santa immediately said, his voice getting deeper. "The only thing I want right now is you."
The Grinch widened his eyes, his face heating up. He could tell that he was for sure blushing, which made him super nervous and completely embarrassed.
"Wait!" The Grinch exclaimed. "What about poor Mrs. Claus? She's your wife!"
Santa glared at him, looking back down at the floor.
"You can't do this, Claus. You're messed up. You're not being yourse-"
"Stop it!"
Santa grabbed the Grinch by the waist, slamming him against the wall. He pressed his face so close to his, their noses nearly touching.
"W-What are you doing?" The Grinch asked him, gulping.
Santa gave him a little smirk.
"Doing what I've always wanted to do."
He slowly pressed his lips up against the Grinch's.
The pair stayed like that for a little longer, kissing each other for what felt like hours. As time went by, things progressed even further.
The Grinch tangled his fingers in Santa's soft, white hair. Santa wrapped his hands around the Grinch's waist, gripping at him every so often.
The Grinch suddenly released himself from the kiss, giving Santa a devilish smirk.
"Hey Santa," he asked in a tempting tone. "Do you wanna take this to the bedroom? I've got some, uh... milk and cookies that we can share."
Santa smirked back at him.
"I'd love to."
