Scars

Can anybody ever truly fix a broken girl?

Can anybody hear her when she fights to not let out a cry?

Maybe when her insides shatter...how she dies inside?

When her mind gets overwhelmed; she fights for an escape.

Loving the ones she has lost; covering over the past with tape....

But when it becomes undone;  her past comes back again.

Oh, how this girl trembles...waiting for the end.

She doesn't want to fear another day; doesn't want to hurt anymore...

Why can't she just fight it? Why does she slam the door?

She only feels alone; "Nothing more I should see."

So when she thinks she's had enough;  She lets her blood pour free.

Another cut, another blade..

"It's just another day of bleeding; another day made."

Another slit; another scar...

They didn't think she'd go this far.

But another word; she let out a cry.

That girl has lost; She died inside.

The tremble, or the pain.

The good, the bad, the ugly.

The way it all poured, how could it get this bloody?

Another day has lost; another child has been defeated.

Just by these words; an how they were mistreated.

So another story told; From this child to you.

Don't let them get to you; don't let them turn you blue.

So don't let their mistake, surely end yours.

They only are attention seeking; grabbing onto more lies.

Don't let them get to you; Or another child dies.
