(Don't put this and chapter one together. They are not gonna connect)
Bell was new to Cherry High School, she was dropped in at a quarter into the first semester. She expected she would be an outsider, that she wouldn't fit in at all. But to her surprise, she was fitting in, maybe even a little too much. It was probably because she was the epitome of beauty. All the popular students hung around her because she was pretty, like them. She doesn't even use any makeup, whatsoever, she was just the essence of natural beauty. But beauty wasn't everything to Bell. In fact, it actually made her feel insecure, because everyone loved her for her looks, not who she was as a person. The people she would rather hang out with and get to know, don't even like her because they think she's snooty, and too good for them, when in turn she's probably the sweetest girl you could know. Bell had only been there for a month, and she was already thrown into the stereotype of beauty.
It was a Tuesday morning, October 20th, Bell was at her locker when a couple of her "friends" came to hang with her. They called themselves her "BFF's" but they were a bit obnoxious, and what made it worse, was that they were twins. It was bad enough having just one, but two of them? Forget it. Jessie and Jules were their names. They were definitely identical, but not just because of their faces. They literally aimed to look the same, they wore the same clothes. Their hairstyles were a bit different, but that didn't really help all that much. "Hey girl!" they both exclaimed at the same time, Bell gave them a smile, "Hey guys," she replied. "You coming to our party this weekend?" Jules said and took Bell's hands into hers kind of violently. She thought for a bit, making the sisters frown, "Yeah I guess I'll go," she laughs when they give her such cheesy grins. They may be obnoxious, but she can tell they do really care, and Bell doesn't mind as much to have them around. They both gave her a tight hug, "See you in class, B!" and then they were gone.
She opened her locker then, and grabbed a notebook, and when she went to close her locker, she heard the bell ring. Bell got her stuff ready and headed to her first period. She was about to turn into her class when something caught her eye, but not something, someone. He was the most attractive guy she's ever seen. He was tall, semi-muscular, enough to see through his clothes. He had shaggy caramel hair, he was a few feet away, but she could see his eyes, a vibrant hazel color, and they were looking right at her. She felt this weird pull to him, she didn't know why. Someone tapped on her shoulder and she snapped out of her daze, it was Hazel, the only "best friend" she had that understood her and loved her for her. "You good?" she asked worriedly, before pulling Bell into their first period classroom. She blinked a few times before looking to her friend. "Bell, are you ok?" Hazel questioned her again, "Sorry, yes, I think I'm ok.." Bella took a breath and sat down at her desk. Her best friend sat next to her, their desks obviously next to each other. "What happened?" Bell let out a breathy laugh and replied "There was this guy, and he, he was like super attractive, and we locked eyes. I felt this weird pull towards him, his stare had me rooted to the floor." They both laughed, but then Hazel gasped, "Did he have caramel brown hair? Hazel eyes?" Bell nodded, with a look of confusion on her face. "His name is Blake, and I wouldn't make that a habit of looking at him like that, or feeling things like that. He's new like you, he came into the school right about the same time you did, and bad rumors are already spreading about him." Bell became even more confused, but kind of figured that a guy with such good looks would probably be a player. But she decided to ask anyways, "Like what?" "Like, he messes around with girls, and he's kind of an outsider, some people are even scared of him because he has such an intimidating aura." Hazel sighed as she finished her sentence. Bell was about to say something, but the bell rang, and their teacher walked in, telling everyone to be silent. She frowned at Hazel before turning to the front of the class, taking out a notebook and pencil and waiting for the teacher to give them their assignment.
It was lunch time now, and Bell had been chosen to sit with Jessie and Jules, and the rest of their friends. Guess who was a part of their group? Blake of course. She didn't ever notice him till the fateful staring contest in the hallway. It was weird. How did she never notice such a beautiful specimen? She sat down at the table, and looked up at him, and of course he was staring right at her. She let out a gasp, their eyes locking for the second time that day. "I've heard your names Bell" he said, his voice low, yet warming. She nodded, "And I've heard yours is Blake," she threw back the same statement, he smirked at it, leaning his elbows on the table and resting his head on his palms. Bell pulled her lunch from her backpack, a sandwich, some apple slices and a water bottle. Blake laughed and shook his head, "That's your lunch?" his eyes danced with amusement. She nodded, and he chuckled again, "Why don't you come with me, I'll take you somewhere." Bell gave him a shocked face, "Are we allowed to even leave campus like that?" she questioned him as she put her lunch back into her bag. He shrugged and stood up, coming around the table. He gestured to her to follow him. Her nerves were on fire because of how they were leaving school like that. She was kind of a goody-two-shoes. She followed still, but she couldn't really help it.
They ended up at this small diner not too far from the school, it was old, but still pretty nice. She was honestly surprised that she was even there right now. Why had she suddenly noticed this guy, and why had he suddenly noticed her as well? The whole situation was pretty odd, but she couldn't really complain, eating out with a really hot guy? Who would complain. Bell was curious about why this all happened, so she decided to say something. They just finished eating, so she thought it would be a good opportunity. "So, why all this?" she asked and looked at him with curiosity, he took a sip of his soda before smirking and replying to her question. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you the truth," his eyes were daring as he looked over his hands that were now under his nose. Bell raised an eyebrow at him, "Try me."
"Alright, don't say I didn't warn ya though," he took a deep breath before speaking again, "Well, I'm a werewolf. I just came of age where my wolf instincts are coming to life, and I believe you're my mate."
