As the sun sets Zoro looks outside from the police box as the street gets darker and darker and the air gets cold. He reaches for his jacket and puts it on as his partner, Smoker, comes in from the back shivering. "You know what this means?" Smoker sits at his desk as he puts his jacket on.

"It may snow tonight?" Zoro says leaning against the door frame.

"No, it means our job gets easier." Zoro nods. As the weather gets colder the less people are out meaning they don't have to worry to much about people being out, no one wants to be out in the cold. Zoro looks down at his watch then back at Smoker as he stands straight.

"I'm going to do my last rounds before I head back home."

"All right, be safe and be a hero." He shouts a little to Zoro as he walks off into the night. He does his usual watch as he walks around the area looking to see everything calm and quiet. He looks around the street as every apartment light is turned on and some faint giggles are heard from the open windows. Zoro couldn't help but smile at how peaceful the neighborhood sounds and would like it to stay like this. The last place he checks is the park. Most of the time it's crawling with couples going for a walk together but since it's cold no sane person would think of going for a walk in a park. The park is completely empty, only the park lights light up the park, and the sound of the cold wind could be heard blowing by. As he exits the park he hears a voice.

"Leave me alone you stupid pervert!" The voice belong to a little girl as she yells. Worried Zoro runs towards the voice.

"Be quiet little girl!" A very raspy but deep voice says back. Zoro starts running trying to follow the voices.

"Kyaa!" The little girl screams as the man grabs her from behind covering her mouth. She bites him on his hand really hard. The are both in the trees off the path of the park.

"Ouch!" He drops her, he looks down at his hand as she scurries away. "You stupid brat!" He pulls her back and raises his hand to hit her but is punched in the face before he could. He falls to the floor. Zoro bends down next to him moving him around so his chest face the ground. He moves his arm to the back to hand cuff him.

"You're under arrest for attempted kidnapping." Zoro says putting handcuffs on him as he reads the man his rights. Zoro helps him stand up and looks over at the little girl who just stare at him as the three piercings on his left ear shine. He gets down to her level and smiles. "I'm officer Roronoa, do you think you can come with me to the police box to put this bad guy away?" He says trying to sound friendly. She nods and he smiles back, he stands up and they all walk back before she tugs on his pants. He looks down at her.

"I forgot my backpack over there." She points at an empty bench.

"OK let's get it." He says, she runs to the bench and he follows her as she grabs her duck backpack putting it on. As they walk back to the station the little girl grabs Zoro's hand holding it tight. He looks down at her as her small hand shivers in his big hand. He grips her hand tighter making her hold his hand with both her hands.

"What happened?" Smoker asks looking up at the handcuffed man with a big bruise on his face and Zoro handing a little girls hand as she grips his hand with both of hers while she looks like she's about to cry. He stands to take the man back to holding.

"I was walking in the park when I heard this girl yelling so I went to check it out to find him trying to kidnapped her." Zoro brings the girl to sit in a small resting area in the police box.

"I'll take him to the back." Smoker says pulling the kidnapper with him. Zoro turns back to the girl fully able to see her. Her hair falls just past her shoulder, her bangs covering one side of her face and her eye brow curl just a little bit.

"Do you know your parents phone number? Do you have a phone by any chance? To contact your parents?" Zoro asks sweetly. She takes her backpack off and rummage through it before taking out a small piece of paper handing it to him. He looks at it then at her and back at the paper he takes it and opens it. Only a phone number written on it. "Thank you," he says as he walks over to his desk for the phone. "So what's you name? How old are you?" He says as he dials the number. He hold the phone to his hear hearing the tone.

"My name is Luane Vinsmoke and I just turned six." Zoro stares at her until a hello is heard on the other end of the phone, the voice seems to be out of breath and angry but worried. Quickly Zoro hangs up. Zoro takes a big sigh as he looks down at the ground. He just had to make sure it was the same last name. "What's your parents names?" He asks hesitantly.

"It's just me and my dad, his name is Sanji Vinsmoke." She says smiling before she frowns and turns away. Zoro sits down at his desk grumbling. Out of all the kids he could have saved it just had to be his. What luck? Smoker walks into the room also grumbling. Zoro looks up at the man.

"What's wrong?" Smoker looks behind him at Zoro.

"Just got a domestic call. They want one of us to check it out." Zoro stands up abruptly.

"I'll go." He volunteers.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, you want to get back home to the Mrs, I would be staying for paper work anyway because of this incident what's a few more." Zoro says.

"Fine," Smoker sits at his desk.

"Cool. Now can you call her father to come pick her up, thanks." Zoro says setting the paper with Sanji's phone number in front of him. He runs to the back then back out the police box. On his way to the place he was called about he thought about Sanji.

Six years since he confessed, give or take. It had been six and a half years since they all made the pact to see each other again but no one showed up. He and Luffy waited but nothing. It's not like they didn't see anyone it's just that they saw their old friends separately. Franky builds all sorts of modes of transportation. Usopp invents things to make live easier. Nami travels the world as she takes pictures and draws the places she's been to. Brook is a famous musician. Robin teaches and researches at a university far away. Sanji is the only person they haven't meet, he never came to visit. The whole reason Luffy made the pact was so they all could gather together again and party like old times. When no one showed Luffy practically cried like a child until his brothers comforted him with meat. Zoro also felt dejected, he wanted to see Sanji again, it's hard to give up on someone you've loved for three years. He even came up with some fantasy that Sanji had changed his mind and that they could he together but he knew that was more than one hundred percent unlikely. The fact that he has a daughter just proves it.
