Mark tossed the empty bottle towards the side as he began walking drowsily towards the direction of his home, or what he thought was the direction of his home.
The drowsiness in him was the cause of his unsteady walking, as well as the cause of the scared and judgemental stares from passersby, yet he couldn't seem to care any less and just made his way down the sidewalk.
The bright signage of an unfamiliar store caught the boy's attention for what the boy had craved for in his whole life was said to be found in there.
Trying his best to get himself to walk steadily, he crossed the empty road and stepped foot into the drug store, or what others tend to call it as the 'pharmacy'.
Yes, what he was, is, has always been and will always be craving for is nothing but drugs, be it liquid ones or solid ones, he just had his eyes drawn to them. It was bad, he knew it, but he just didn't know how to stop himself.
Slowly and quietly, Mark walked past the rows of shelves, his eyes glancing around, searching for the desired item.
It had taken the boy about 30 minutes to realise that nothing could be found, no flu pills, no cough syrup, no whatever. He sighed, if only his drug dealer hadn't been caught a week ago, then he could still be enjoying all the ecstasy and cocaine.
At this point, he felt desperate, but he still couldn't bring himself to walk to pharmacy counter, and ask for some cough syrup placed in cupboard behind them.
In the end, however, the boy gave up and dragged his feet out of the store, bummed out with the fact that his cravings weren't fulfilled this time round.
Almost as if Lady Luck was trying to make it up to Mark, the said boy felt a strong force on his chest and stomach, causing him to fall onto ground roughly, only to see a much familiar bottle rolling upon him.
It a was heroin. Without any hesitation needed, Mark grabbed the bottle and made a run for it, afraid that the boy who knocked him down would run after him.

"Why is so hard to just die?!" Donghyuck screamed out in frustration, not bothered by the few people around him.
Donghyuck just couldn't believe it, what has he ever done in his life to make fate want to let him stay alive?
Feeling defeated, Donghyuck stood up and continued his journey back home, this time, it was without any drugs, or suicide plans.
As the boy entered the house, he was greeted with a warm and happy family having their dinner together while chattering away, without him.
Of course it would be without him, he wasn't part of the family, and he never would be. With tears threatening to fall, the boy ran upstairs with the speed of light, unable to bear the sight any longer.

Mark slammed the door shut after he pulled out the keys from the keyhole. Once again, he was greeted by nothing but silence.
He lunged himself onto the couch, a sigh escaping his lips. Soon enough, he lifted his hand of which was still slowly opened it. Grabbing the syringe from the table, he slowly injected the drug into his arm until he felt himself escaping reality.
The silence, the loneliness, it was all killing him, and this was the only way he had to escape them.
