Right now i'm about to pick up Luke from the airport when my phone rings.
I look at the caller ID, but its an unknown number.
So I just answer it.
"Hello?" I say uncertainly
"Hey, Alex." someone says to me
Oh it's the person that contributed into my birth.
"Oh, hi Roland." I say
"You know you can call me." he said
"I have better things to do, so could you make it quick." I say
"Can't I just call my daughter." he says
"Not in your case, seeing as I haven't talked to you in three years." I say to him
"Fine. So could I drop Ashley at yours next week."
Ashley's his daughter my step-sister.
"Why?" I ask
"Because Anna and I are going to England for two months." He says
"Fine, I haven't seen her in years" I say
