You held your phone in your hand and tapped your foot as you waited for the male to arrive. You leaned back on the couch and arched your neck back, looking up at the ceiling for a moment before closing your eyes.
You felt the need to sleep. You and your friend have been packing nonstop. And since you guys bought so much, you're not even sure if it could fit on the plane.
"Hey you."
The voice brought you out of your thought. Your eyes fluttered open to meet Mark's who face was directly above yours. Your smile appeared before standing up and turning around to wave to him, "hey."
He bobbed his head backwards, "let's go somewhere, hmm?"
You were a little hesitant at first, "but—I still have to pack—" your words were cut off by him walking directly up to you and yanking you along with him.
With his hand in yours, he led you to his car. He opened the car door for you and then motioned with his other hand for you to get in. "We can worry about packing later."
You heaved a sigh and knew that you couldn't argue with him about the matter. "You really don't know when to stop, mister." With that said, you sat in the passenger seat of the car.
Once Mark was in the driver's seat, you both began your journey down the crowded streets. "So did you enjoy Korea?"
You glanced over at him and nodded your head, "I did. It's really pretty."
Mark smiled when he heard that. "I'm glad you enjoyed it. Is there anywhere else you want to go before you leave?"
The question made you pause and think. There's not a place where you and your friend haven't gone. "I don't think so."
Mark clicked his tongue and turned into a big parking lot by a park. "I guess I'm just going to have to show you some more stuff."
Once Mark got out of the car, you hopped out as well. He came over to your side and motioned with his hand to follow him, which you did. "Where are we?" You asked.
"The park I used to run in when I was a kid," he chuckled and looked over at you, "come on, I want to show you something specific." He turned and started running in a random direction.
You widened your eyes, not expecting him to take off like that. "Hey!" You looked around before running after him.
After a while, Mark stopped and looked back at you, making sure you kept up with him. You stopped beside him and put your hands on your knees, heaving and panting from exhaustion. "You need to get out more," he said to you after seeing your form.
You looked up at him and sent him a fierce glare. "And you need to watch your mouth if you want to keep your teeth."
"Oh how evil." He pointed up at a treehouse, "this is where my friends used to hang out. Isn't it neat?" He put his hands on the wooden ladder stapled to the trees and started making his way up.
You looked up at the treehouse and made your way after him shortly after he disappeared into the small wooden home. Once you got up there, lots of toys were placed around and multiple different drawings were all over the place. "This is so cute."
Mark chuckled and crawled Over to lean against the wall. He looked over at you and watched how you would crawl to the other corner and lean against it as well. "Y/n. I like you."
It was so sudden that the words didn't even process through your mind yet. "You what?" You ask again, trying to confirm if your ears caught that right.
"I like you."
It was like your heart was shot with a million arrows and Cupid was out to get you. Your cheeks flushed red and you just continued to look at him, unsure of how to respond. So you just don't.
Mark waited for you to say something back, preferably that you like him as well but when you didn't say anything, the smile on his face faltered. "Say something."
You gulped nervously and looked to the side. "Are you even allowed to like me?" You asked, looking down.
Mark raises his eyebrows and crawled over to you, sitting in front of you with his legs crisscrossed. "Of course I am. No one could stop my feelings. They've been present for a while now."
"T-they have?" You stuttered, unable to process that your ultimate bias likes you.
He nodded and took your hand in his. "I've liked you ever since the first moment I heard your voice. I told my members, I told people that I liked you. It's all okay, you don't need to be scared of anyone Else finding out. I won't let anything happen to you because of it."
You were frozen at this point, taking in every single word that came out of his mouth. It was like he knew exactly what to say to drive you crazy, to make you crazy for him. "I-I don't know what to say."
Mark gave your hands a light squeeze of reassurance, which managed to calm you down a little. "Do you like me too?"
You chuckled at the question. "Of course I do," you lean back and look up at the ceiling. "But how could we do this? I'm in America and you're in Korea."
Your answer was enough to cause Mark to smile. He grinned widely and shook his head after hearing what else you had to say. "Don't even worry about that, we will figure it out."
You giggled and shook your head as well. "I have to worry about it!" You pulled your hands away and ran them through your hair. "What does this make us?"
Mark leans back and quirks an eyebrow, "depends, what do you want us to be?"
"Together," you confess immediately.
Mark chuckled and nodded, "then I guess we're together."
