Everyone started clapping when they announced Chris' cousins as a married couple at their reception when they came in holding hands. He couldn't help but smile widely, seeing how happy his cousin looked standing with his new bride. Chris wouldn't lie to himself, he felt a tiny pang of jealousy, wondering when it would be his turn to be the one being announced with his bride and he hoped that day would come soon.

While he was lost in his daydream, Erica started buzzing when she heard 'Footloose' start blasting over the speakers and the dance floor opened. Her eyes looked all around the table filled with the Evans family before she stood up and grabbed Chris' hand.

"C'mon! Let's go!" She squealed while he let her pull him onto the dance floor.

"Scotty! Shanna! Come save me!" Chris joked but Erica just ignored him, too excited for the dancing that was about to happen.

The second that they were on the polished wood floor, Erica was dancing around like crazy and Chris couldn't help but laugh along with Scotty and Shanna who had joined him on the dance floor. They bopped around singing along while mostly watching Erica.

Chris had rarely seen Erica in anything but sweatpants or a tee shirt and jeans over the past 3 months he had known her. Usually when she got home from work, she would always change her clothes into some band tee shirt and comfy jeans. Seeing her in a black jumpsuit with her hair done and makeup on made her look different than normal. Although Chris preferred her casual attire, he did enjoy seeing her figure in the jumpsuit.

Her styled hair didn't last long though from the way she was shaking her curls as she danced and sung along off key in the most adorable way possible. What she lacked in singing ability, she definitely made up in dancing ability. Chris watched her sway her hips while he enjoyed himself and danced along to the music.

After 7 or 8 songs, Shanna had already decided to go take a break and Chris felt his own self getting a bit tired and he called out to Erica over the music, "I'm going to get a drink, you want one?"

"And stop dancing? No way!" She laughed while dancing with Scotty.

He nodded before going to the nearby bar at the reception and got a beer. Normally if he brought someone with him to an occasion like this, he would leave the girl he brought by herself with a bunch of people she didn't know but Chris wasn't worried. When he looked over and saw her, she was in the middle of the dance floor tearing it up and causing Chris to laugh.

Scotty soon after left the dance floor and came to get a drink himself while leaning next to Chris, "I thought we had a lot of energy but damn! Erica puts us to shame!"

"I know, look at her," Chris cackled hilariously while watching her kick off her heels and dancing even harder.

"I was reading the comments on your video that you posted a few weeks ago and people are convinced she's your girlfriend even though they've only heard her voice in the video. They're even doing like fan art of Dodger and Jacky," Scott chuckled.

"It doesn't matter what I post, if there's a female in it people will think it's my girlfriend," Chris took a sip of his beer while keeping his eyes on Erica.

"Well you did bring her to a family wedding as a date," He told him. "I think maybe other people are picking up on what you aren't."

Chris didn't respond to his brother, he just started laughing when he heard 'Wannabe' come on by the Spice Girls and immediately was followed by Erica letting out an excited squeal as she pumped her arms in the air. He watched her mouth the words to the song while she danced around on bare feet and Chris cupped his hands around his mouth while shouting, "GO SPORTY SPICE!"

This only encouraged Erica who wildly shook her curls and her hips. Chris thought how her joy and laughter was just downright contagious. He couldn't seem to look at her without smiling. What was so rare about her though was that not only was she spontaneous and fun, she was deep and soulful.

Chris was lost in his thoughts about her when his cousin walked up. He first got a hug from Scott but then came to Chris who hugged him tightly and said, "Congratulations man, I'm so damn happy for you."

"I am too. Kelly is so far out of my league but I'm so lucky to have her," He told his cousin. "Chris, your girlfriend though is just cracking me up! She has the best dance moves out there!"

Chris smirked while sipping his beer and asked, "Did you see the video I posted on twitter? Is that why you think she's my girlfriend?"

His cousin wrinkled his nose up in confusion, not knowing what he was talking about and told him, "No, Aunt Lisa said she was your girlfriend."

Chris looked over his cousin's shoulder and found where his mom was sitting at the table with Carly and Shanna and the moment his blue eyes met hers, she knew she had been found out. Chris sent her a playful glare and shook his head while she just smiled and shrugged.

"I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY!" Chris was interrupted by Erica's loud off key singing as she started dancing over to him. "I wanna feel the heat with somebody! Yeah I wanna dance with somebody, with somebody who loves me!"

She kept on dancing over to Chris until she was close enough to take the beer out of his hands, put it on the bar and drag him back to the dance floor while he just laughed. Chris got his suit jacket off and tossed it on a nearby chair before the two started dancing and singing at the top of their lungs not even fully realizing that they both were dancing with somebody who loves them.
