Kuun Naiset (Moon Women): The Kuun Naiset are a clan of women that have been under the prolonged use of a genetic enhancement that supposedly allowed them to see into the future. The original reason they used the enhancement was unknown but because of the extended time that they used it they began to turn very pale. Their hair, skin, and eyes turned almost completely white which also resulted in blindness. The Moon Women are revered as Holy Spirits throughout the new world, highly respected for their prophecies. The Moon Women walk the New World in the winter months to find young girls to take into their fold. Only the girls born on a night with a full moon are taken to become one of the Kuun Naiset.
