Writing.

words printed carefully onto paper
ink that comes directly from the heart
emotions spill across pure paper
only the writers eyes read and define it
but the writer is begging to be heard

feelings carved into paper with metaphors and similes
described in detail with colour, touch and sight
endless journal entries and unnamed poems
the writers only friend
is the writers pen and paper

the writer doesn't dare speak a word
but screams only in ink
the writers eyes flash with emotion
while the paper is streaked in ink and tears
the writer expresses emotion only in inked words on paper
