Icy Love

Chapter 2

I sat in my room doing my math homework and thinking about Bobby and my parents. There was a soft knock on the door and I got up to go answer it. I opened the door and saw rose pedals and a note.

I bent down and picked up the note. It had been frozen on the sides and it said 'follow the path of your favourite flower but it may take just under an hour -your secret admirer' and I knew instantly who it was. Bobby, and I knew it was him because of his terrible attempt at poetry.

I smiled and followed the path of rose pedals. There were white and red pedals. It actually only took ten minutes to find the end of the rose pedal path.

When I came to the end I saw Bobby in a flannel shirt and jeans. He had a big smile on his face and a bouquet of a dozen roses.

I walked over to him and smiled. "I knew it was you from the beginning,"I said. "How?!"he asked, clearly shocked. "Your bad attempt at poetry,"I said smiling. "Aww crap!"he said. I have him a warm smile and said "It's okay! I find it cute!" He smiled and turned around and wrote on the wall "will you be mine? Circle YES or NO". I grabbed his finger and carefully circle yes. He turned to me and smiled. "Really!?"he asked, excitedly. "Yeah!"I said happily. "Well...are you free this afternoon and evening?"he asked. "Yep! Why?"I asked. "Well I was hoping you would want to go on our first date then?"he said worriedly.

I nodded. "Of course! I would love to!" I said. He nodded and told me he would come get me at 12:30. I nodded back and walked up to my room and saw that it was already 12:00 and I panicked. I had to shower and that usually takes 15 minutes and then I have to find a outfit AND do my make up, witch takes 5 minutes and to find an outfit might take another 5 to find it and put it on.

I walked into my bathroom and started the shower then striped out of my pyjamas and got in. By the time I got out it was 12:17 and I put on my robe and started rummaging threw my closet. After about five minutes I picked out black tights, a grey long sleeve baggy sweater, and grey combat boots. I put on a bit of lip gloss skin tone eye shadow and black eye liner. It was 12:28 so I walked back into my bathroom and I brushed my teeth.

Right at 12:30 there was a knock at my bedroom door. I walked out of my bathroom and opened it seeing Bobby in the clothes he was in before, except I could tell he had a shower. "Ready to go?"he asked. I nodded and we walked down the hall holding each others hands. "You look beautiful tonight,"he said, making me blush. "You look quite handsome your self,"I said back smiling. "Why thank you!"he said.

"So where are you taking me?"I asked. "Now that, is a surprise,"he said, winking after. "Aww,"I whined. Bobby smiled and kept walking.

He took me to a restaurant for lunch and then we took a bus up to a ski hill. We got off the bus and walked inside. "Umm...Bobby. I don't know how to ski or snow bored..."I confessed. "I already knew that! And don't worry! I'm gonna teach you how to snow bored!"he said. "O-Okay..."I said, a bit worried and nervous. He payed for our snow bored's and our gear.

We walked over to a bench and put the boots on and the rest of the stuff then went outside. Bobby showed me how to put my feet in the bindings and then what to do at the bottom of the hill and all that stuff. "Ready to try the hill?"he asked me. I nodded and we went over to the beginning of the hill. "Remember what I told you?" He asked. I nodded and smiled at him. "If you fall I'll be right there,"he said. I nodded once more and then started down the hill. About half way down the hill I lost my balance and fell right on my butt. Bobby came over to me and helped me up. We smiled at each other and then continued in down the hill.

After a while of doing that Bobby wanted to go try some jumps so I went and watched him. The first thing he did was jump up and grab the bottom of his bored and letting it go before he hit the ground. He did a lot more other cool tricks then came over to me. "Wanna go? You look cold,"he said. I nodded and we returned our stuff then left. It was around 4 and by the time we got back to the mansion it was 4:45.

We decided to make some dinner and then watch some movies in my room. We had chicken wraps for dinner and we watched Frozen, Paranormal activity 2, 3, and 4 and then the conjuring. Lets just say the hole time we were watching the paranormal activity movies and the conjuring I was wrapped up in Bobby's arms scared shitless. When the conjuring ended I looked up at Bobby who looked quite scared himself.

"Umm. Bobby can you sleep in my room tonight?" I asked. "Yeah. I don't really wanna sleep by my self either..."he said. I nodded and cuddled up to him falling asleep.
