It was finally the last month of our senior year. It didn't feel like Michael and I have been together for 6 years, and 2016 was one of the best. We walked to school together almost every day since 6th grade. He would hold my hand and wrap his arms around me as we walked. We truly are soulmates. I'm so happy I get to call him mine.

As we were trying to cross the street, some asshole decided to speed up next to us and block the crosswalk.

"Hey douchebag, watch where you're going!" Michael yelled at the car. The window rolled down, and, of course, it was my best friend, Taylor, and her idiot boyfriend, Alex, who was driving.

"Hahaha you're so funny!" I yelled as Taylor and Alex laughed hysterically.

"Love ya Brie," Taylor said as they drove away. We finally crossed the street and walked up to the front of the school. Taylor and Alex were waiting for us. We went through the weeks like we normally do and pushed through a bad case of senoritis.

Before we knew it, it was the last week of school. It was our last day of graduation practice. One last run through with our walking partners and then off to the real thing. Taylor was my walking partner and Michael was Alex's. As Taylor and Alex were in front of us, I swatted Michael on the arm. He looked over at me and started tickling me. I slapped him harder to get him to stop while I was laughing and gasping for air. We ended up play slapping each other until we got to our seats. You would think we were five.

The hours drug on, but it was finally graduation night. We were all excited to finally graduate and go off to the real world. As we were in line, Michael and Alex seemed a bit nervous. Taylor and I thought it was just because we were getting our diplomas. As Taylor went up to get her diploma, Alex ran past and snuck up behind her. I noticed a little black box and gasped. He was going to propose!! She turned around and started to cry instantly when she saw Alex was down on one knee. I turn around to tell Michael, and before I could say anything, he smiled his adorable smile and reached into his pocket.

"Briana, we've been together for 6 years now, and I think it's time I do this," He gets down on one knee, "We've has our ups and downs, but we got through them. You have been there for me at my worst. You've helped me when no one else could, and there was so much." He pulls out a little box and opens it, revealing a beautiful diamond ring. "Briana, will you marry me?"

"YES! YES! YES!" I yelled, tears streaming down my face. He put the beautiful ring on my finger, picked me up, and twirled me around. I was the happiest girl in the world! Nothing could ever ruin this.

"I love you, Briana," Michael said, holding me close.

"I love you, too," I said, gazing into his gorgeous hazel eyes, "Forever and always."
