alex stood next art's agent, ethan, as they listen to art sing her final song. "she's great kid, you know?" her manager said. alex looked at him and smiled, "yeah."

"i was the first to reach out to her because i saw potential in that kid," the old man smiled. alex hummed and looked back at his girlfriend, "she doesn't have anyone back home, alex."

alex tore his gaze away from his girl again, "what?" "her parents left her when she was around eight, leaving her alone with her grandmother."

"the poor old lady can't even walk nowadays," ethan sighed. alex frowned, "what- why are you telling me this?"

"i haven't seen her that happy in many years of being her agent," ethan said, putting a hand over his shoulder. "i'm telling you this because i know she's in safe hands." ethan added.

"i'll talk to her grandmother," alex said, smiling at ethan. ethan, with a relieved sigh, smiled back. "you're a good kid, alex. i'm glad you ended up with art."

"i'm glad i did."
