My first week had gone rather well so far. I had made good friends with everyone, especially Amy who was always helping me out with anything I was struggling with.

The only person I hadn't quite cracked yet was Rosa, she was ever so reserved. I left her to it, I didn't want to offend her in any way by being too forward.

I made small talk but didn't over do it through fear of annoying her. I think she appreciated it. I just couldn't focus on my paperwork today, my head was banging. I was managing to ignore it at first until it got worse. I think it was turning into a migraine.

I stood from my desk and made my way to the staff room, each step a stuggle. I shut the door behind me and switched the light off, trying to steady myself. A voice in the dark made me jump. It was Rosa's voice.

Rosa: Woah what the heck?!

I turned the light back on.

Me: Rosa I'm so sorry I didn't realise you were in here...

My words cut off as everything went black. I felt myself falling but Rosa grabbed me round the waist, pulling me to the sofa. She went and switched the light back off before dashing to the fridge to grab some ice packs.

She placed on the back of my neck and held the other on my forehead. I could feel myself fading in and out but my vision was beginning to return.

Rosa: I get these all the time so I know exactly what to do when someone else has one. I hope this helps.
Me: (slurring slightly) Thank you for helping me.
Rosa: It's OK. Besides, we're friends. When you are feeling more steady, I will give you a ride home. You can't be in work like this.

I tried to protest that I was OK and didn't want to take time off in my first week but she had none of it. I felt her stroke my hair as she felt the ice pack on. It felt really good, really relaxing. At long last my head was starting to ease.

I wasn't sure what I was feeling right now but I liked her calling me her friend. I had made friends with everyone here but this made me smile inside.

Rosa nursed me until I was stable enough to walk upright. She held onto my arm and lead me to the elavator. I didn't realise it before but I had her leather jacket around my shoulders. She told Holt that she was taking me home as I was not fit to work the rest of my shift.

I think I dozed off in the car as I didn't wake up in my apartment. I looked around confused until I saw Rosa doing yoga on the floor in front of me.
She was very strong, holding her entire body weight up with her arms.

She sat up and smiled at me.

Rosa: Oh good you're awake, how do you feel?
Me: Much better now thanks. How long was I asleep?
Rosa: About two hours. You slept for most of the car journey before I could ask where you live so it made more sense to bring you home.
Me: I'm so sorry. I feel awful and intrusive.
Rosa: Don't be sorry. You were poorly and I wanted to make sure you were safe. I would've stayed with you at your place either way so don't apologise.

I was speechless as I found myself staring into her deep brown eyes. I almost forgot to breathe for a second, losing myself in her eyes. I think I was falling for her.
