dandelion wine

You took all the petals and left me with thorns,
your fingers are bloody and your palms are scarred,
You're just as empty as my dandelion jar
You gasp and retreat away from me.
You thought I'd grown flowers
In this garden of weeds.
I made this dandelion wine just for you,
You drink me in,
And forget what you said.
 "The summers fruits were rotten
they reminded me of you."
