I was just like everyone else that day, scared, aware and very curious. Yes, it was the first day of high school. I examined the place, quickly realising I had no friends and knew no body. I panicked a little. Finding a way to calm me down.
It's not like I had no friends, I did. But they had moved to different schools that would take me hours to reach, and unfortunately I ended up here in this dump they call ' Massey '
As all of us students were ordered to enter the hall and be seated, I was pushed against the crowd. As I was entering the door I had caught a glimpse of a tall, muscular figure. I flickered my eyes upon him, he smirked and sent shivers down my spine. I quickly look forward re-focusing of where I was going, not wanting him to see me as a loner.
The room was filled with many people, so many I had lost count. I scanned through the crowd to see a face or two that had looked familiar to me. My face lite up with relief. I ran up the few stairs and took a seat next to her, before anyone else could take it. I doubt they would. " Hey Faye ! " I said trying to get her to turn my way. She smiled lightly. " Oh hi, " she said facing her back towards me. I'm not to sure if she likes me or not? We'll I wasn't too friendly with her in primary.
Faye had tough thick hair, that stuck to her head. A tall wide body that stuck out, muscular legs and arms. And a slick face. She wasn't someone to mess with, although she's shy, she could knock someone's block off!
' Good Morning students ' The principle preached and he carried on with his boring introduction. I was day dreaming away, as I flickered through the crowd I saw 'him' again. Tingles ran through my body. I hid my smile. He was listening and seemed very focused, then suddenly he's eyes were on me. I looked away, facing the front until I had noticed multiples of peoples eyes had turned my way. I looked at Faye, she didn't seem impressed. I refocused my vision. ' Miss? Uh, Miss. What is your name? The principle asked aloud. I sat in silence speechless. " Stand up. " He ordered. As I made my way down. I noticed he had clinched his fist. I was afraid and embarrassed. I walked all the way down the stairs and managed to mumble out a few answers. I looked down half the time. He stepped away from the microphone and turned toward me. " listen here young lady, this is your first day and I suggest you pay real good attention to whatever people above you say? You got that ma'am?" He expressed.
"Uh yes, sir." I stud-erred wishing we had done this in private.
" Did you sign the school rules enforce entering here ma'am?"
"Yes sir!" I said confidently.
"Good girl. Now tell me what you remember about the bides to this school of mine?"
I was able to spit a few of them out, untill he rudely had interrupted.
" Rule number 1, no gum on school grounds! "
I blushed realising what all this fuss was about!
Dammit I mumbled to myself.
" spit that GUM out ma'am " he yelled.
I did as he said and spat the gum right on to the floor.
He's eyes stirred up high fever, I then heard a noise and a few more behind it. The whole stadium of people were cheering and laughing, and with a little smirk on my face, I turned to wards him.
He was not impressed.
He clicked his fingers and with in a flash he had people at his feet cleaning up my mess.
I was still so stunned.
He turned to me, and did not say a word. He smiled and pointed me to my seat above the crowd. I was reliefed! I quickly juggled up the stairs finding Faye. "What was that?" She said with a smile. Did she smile? I asked myself shocked. "Uh, nothing." I said a bit embarrassed.
