First meeting with Indominus-Rex

Phoenix's POV

"Oh my god do you really think she could've- wait she has a tracking implant I can track it from the control room," mum stated as she ran out of the box like room where you can see the dinosaurs. "I want you to stay in here ok Phoenix, while a couple of men and I go investigate ok?" He asked which I nodded to as I gave him a hug and whispered, "be careful please because I have a bad feeling about this," he let me go and said "I promise," then he left while I watched from behind the glass, but it didn't stop me from hacking in to the parks system to find where she is. Only for someone to keep trying to lock me out of the system, just for whoever it was to be out hacked, as I was finding out where the Indominus is by looking for her tracking implant. Just for what I saw made me run to the window and bang on it, yelling, "DAD! DAD SHE'S IN THERE WITH YOU!" Something must have went through the big guys raido as they all started running, but what scared me the most was the Indominus as she had grabbed a worker with her large claws only for her to devour him and was gaining on my dad.

I then ran over to the door trying to go outside only to find that the door was locked. But an idea came to mind so I pulled out a hair clip and pick locked the door and what I saw made my blood run cold, "dad!" I called trying to find him as I saw the Indominus chomp down on the big guy, but I found my dad under a truck putting gasoline on himself. The Indominus then tried smelling for my dad but stood up, turning her attention towards me and started making a strange clicking noise which made me grab my head and scream out of agony as everything started to fade to black.

Owen's POV

I saw my little girl grab on to her head while screaming out in pain as she fell unconscious, falling over the side of the railing after the Indominus made a strange noise only to watch as it left.

I ran over to Phoenix and started calling to her, "Phoenix! Phoenix wake up!" I then heard Barry's voice go through my radio "Owen something is wrong here, Blue is acting up. I think we may need Phoenix to calm him down". 'Oh boy what am I going to say?' I thought to myself, until I heard Phoenix groan and saw her sit up with a hand to her head "what happened? It feels like I got hit in the head by an Ankylosaurus' tail," Phoenix said with a laugh. "You fell unconscious after you saw the Indominus," I told her as I brought her into a hug, "I'm fine but what's that about Blue acting up?" Phoenix asked.

When we got to the raptor pen Blue was trying to attack people and some people were on the platform holding guns at Blue and when Phoenix saw it she ran into the Raptor Paddock and stood in front of Blue with a glare on her face pointed at the men with guns. Before she turned to Blue and held her hand out as he nuzzled her hand, while Phoenix rested her head against Blue's, as he did the same. Which caused us all to say "aw" at the heart warming sight. Blue must've taken notice of the scratches on Phoenix's arm as he ended up licking them which caused her to smile, along with chuckle which actually sounded like a giggle, while petting him. She then spent a few minutes in the Paddock checking on all of the raptors and making sure that they were all okay. Getting loving affectionate nuzzles from Echo, happy chittering from Charlie, and the occasional affectionate bump from Delta, who will then act like she did nothing as Blue would be watching all four of them, while keeping an eye of some of the people on the platforms.

After the whole Blue incident we went to the park to go talk to Claire and her work colleagues and boss about the Indominus-Rex.

Phoenix's POV

When we got to where my mum works my dad seemed pissed and who could blame him I was/am in the same boat as him.

As we exited the elevator a guard tried to get Dad to leave while I snuck past and looked at Mr Masrani with a look that could kill. "What the hell happened out there? There are thermal camera's all over that paddock! She did not just disappear!" Dad exclaimed as mum said "there must of been a technical malfunction," "were you not watching she marked up that wall as a distraction! She wanted us to think she escaped!" "Hold on, we are talking about an animal here," "a highly intelligent animal," I heard dad say as I looked at the screen, not really caring if mum saw my scratched up arm. "You're going after her with non-lethals?" Dad questioned, "we have twenty six million dollars invested in that asset. We can't just kill it," Masrani said as dad quietly responded, "those men are going to die," and I looked at him and something in my eyes must have told him I was scared, not of the Indominus, but for the men who are going to die. As dad pulled me into his side as we watched what was happening.

One of the ACU guys picked up the Indominus' tracking implant as the guy on the other end said, "blood's not clotted yet. She's close," I looked at mum who was standing behind us as Mr Masrani asked, "what is that?" "It's her tracking implant, she clawed it out," dad explained as mum asked, "how would it know to do that?" "She remembered when they put it in,"  that's when we heard trees cracking, sticks breaking, along with birds tweeting. It can camouflage?! "It can camouflage!" The man yelled before he got grabbed, dropped and then stood on. The worst part was you could hear his heart stop beating before all we could hear was their screams of terror and heart beats stopping and I had turned my head as a tree fell on top of a couple of them. I stayed facing towards mum and Mr Masrani as I glared at the man as dad spoke up and said  "evacuate the island," "we'll never reopen," mum said. "You made a genetic hybrid. Raised in captivity. She is seeing all of this for the first time. She doesn't even know what she is. She will kill everything that moves," "you think the animal is contemplating it's own existence?" Masrani asked, I just nodded my head as dad said "she is learning where she fits in the food chain and I'm not sure you want her to figure that out. Now asset containment can use live ammunition in an emergency situation, you have an M1-47 in your armory, put it on a chopper and smoke this thing!" Mum snapped at dad, "we have families here. So I'm not going to turn this place into some kind of a war zone," "you already have," I finally had enough as I snapped, "if you don't do anything they'll end up dead! So do as dad said and kill that thing!" They all looked at me with shock, because I wasn't known to say anything like that and barely anyone in that room has heard me speak. Dad then walked off with me following after him.

Mum just called me over to an area where no one could see of hear us. "Honey, you okay?" Mum asked as she looked at my arm "I'm fine mum, but you and dad need to stop arguing," she smiled at me and kissed the top of my head and then got me to follow dad.

"You did a very brave thing in there Nix," dad said as we got out of the elevator all I could do was give him a confused look, to which he chuckled to and explained "you talking in there and I know how much you love dinosaurs," I chuckled, "that thing tried to eat my dad. Plus it's not a dinosaur. So I hope Masrani listens to your advice and talks to the people in the lab," dad just smiled at me. As we then decided to head to the lab where dad's hoping to get some answers.
