In a slum community where an 8 year old child named Angel, was always beaten up by her drunk father and always had been ignored by her drug addicted, yet always in sorrow mother.

Her family were hopeless, and she had a little brother who was still 5 years old and was always getting sick. Angel, along with her parents and brother, were malnourished. Although her father doesn't come back every breakfast and dinner. Her mother doesn't even cook for them.

And so, hunger became a major problem in the family. But Angel kept supporting the family, by giving canned foods and earning money. But her money were always taken by her father to gamble on the streets.

Along with this was Angel's burden to uplift the family and to become once again a happy normal household.

Then a time came where Angel was suddenly forced to leave the house by his father. But instead of sadness, Angel took this as an oppurtunity to leave behind her father's overcontrolling grasps.

She went to the city and observed many things that she had never seen before. But she was also being bullied, murmured, and being outcasted by other people.

They were rich, in Angel's perspective. She was poor and malnourished, nobody cared about her but she wasn't helpless. Angel lifted her burden, and tried to solve her problem.

Suddenly she heard a beautiful voice of a woman singing. She was lured by the melodious voice and ended up in an opera and met a woman named Carol and was inspired by her singing.

Angel, began to try singing alone in alley until she was noticed by Carol, who was just passing by. Operatically she sang,

"Where is this beautiful, youthful voice?"

"Could she be here?"

Angel noticed her and there eyes met in a straight path. Carol was touched and decided to teach her. Soon Angel grew and got to sang opera with her in the theater as well as earning her daily money.

She became rich and people began to recognize her.

"The angel of music!"

After becoming a star in the theater. Angel resigned her job to recieve a million dollars. No one knew why, but her manager definitely did not allow her to resign and get the money but she said,

"You can take the money, then I can have freedom"

Everyone in the theater was confused, as well as Carol. But she disappeared in a week but had shown back to the slum community. She wore proper formal attire and brought with her was a black suitcase. The residents in the slums looked at her wondering why the rich would visit them.

Until Angel began to cry as she saw her little brother, using his initiative and recycling the trashes he collected.

Angel was proud, happy at the same time sad to see him. The brother did not recognize her, but that didn't break her heart, as Angel understood why. She saw her old father, couldn't walk, who just sat on a wooden chair under the sun.

Angel greeted her father and suddenly, he smiled and cried. Tiers of joy? Why?

Angel may have been forced to leave the house, but she doesn't took a grudge upon him. She gave him the suitcase and revealed thousands of dollars inside. He was very happy but Angel asked,

"Father, where is mother?"

He stopped smiling and told her,

"At the church"

Angel directly went to the church and was excited to see her mother. She entered the old stone, mlssy church and saw her mother standing at the center of the altar facing a giant wooden cross.

Everything was bright, as the stained glass made it even more holy. It was a happy reunion, Angel ran towards her yelling,

"Mother!"

But then she suddenly faded but heard a familliar voice. Father George, he informed Angel about the sad situation of her mother.

"She's dead Angel"

Angel went to her grave, grieving for the lost of her mother. She may had less contact and communication with her but she always had protected Angela until she was drugged by her father and became an addict.

Angel moved on, and accepted the death of her mother. She went back to the slums and was surprised by Carol, her manager and her collueges and friends in the theater. Angel's father and brother were both sent to the hospital, and the theater had promoted the slum community as the residents here to be a part in the performances.

Ang so it happened, Angel was happy and everybody celebrated. It all happened fast, but had a happy ending.
