I’m me!
Get that in your head.
I won’t change;
Not for you, or anybody else.
Why should I
Pretend to be someone I’m not
When you’ll just ask me to change again?

I’ve tried
To be someone I’m not
It’s not fair,
Because I can never be perfect
I can never be what you want me to be
I’m me…
But sometimes I wish
I wasn’t.
