"Meeting someone accidentally, then having them become a huge part of your life." ~ Author Unknown

"We're going to miss you so much Ava." My mom hugged me again.

"I know I'm going to miss you to." I was leaving to go to my new apartment all the way across town.

I picked up my purse and my last bag of my stuff.

"By mama by papa," I wave at my mom and dad before walking out the bakery doors.

After putting my stuff in my car, I turn and face the doors that I grew up in. My parents stood at the doors. My mom had tears streaming down her face and my dad was trying to hold them in.

I don't blame them. Being the only child of a family and everything. My parents babied me all the time. Now I'm leaving. True I'm not going that far, but Seattle is a huge city. And to my parents, just going next door is to far.

I can't help myself. I run up to my family and hug them the tightest I ever have. We stay there for what feels like forever and I finally break apart.

I take a deep breath and walk over to my car. I drive off when I look in my rear view mirror. I found my mom crying like a little baby and my dad holding her.

No Ava listen to your dad, never look back, always look forward. I keep those words playing In my head all the war to my new apartment.

I grab all the stuff I can carry and walk up the stairs to the main floor.

"Here let me help you." A mans voice says to me.

I feel him take a couple of boxes off and I can actually see where I'm going.

"Thank you." I smile at the man. He has the purest green eyes and prettiest blonde hair I have ever seen.

"Your welcome."

"I'm Ava-Mae but most people just call me Ava."

"Nice to meet you Ava, I'm Caleb."

"Well nice to meet you too Caleb."

We get to the top floor and I walk out first. Room 618. I find it and put everything down to get my key out of my pocket. I unlock the door and walk in.

It's not a big apartment. It has a nice tiny kitchen and living room and a little hallway that leads to the bathroom and two bedrooms.

Caleb puts down my stuff and leans against my door frame.

"Not bad. For a first apartment."

"Thanks it needs a little TLC but- wait, how do you know it's my first?"

"I can see tear marks on your face and you choose one of the smallest apartments here. And you look 18 so it's mainly a guess."

I nod my head and walk back down to the elevator. I go and grab the rest of my stuff, which isn't much when Caleb comes over to me again.

"Looks like you don't need help this time."

I chuckle unknown what to do and walk over to the elevator.

"I'll see you around, Ava-Mae."

"Yea, uh you too," and the elevator doors closed.
