"Fat"

The First Time

Hello, My name is Mia.  I may have had perfect eyesight and perfect teeth but I was born one pound over normal.  My father heard that when the nurse told my mom.  From then on he would tease me and hurt me. He has cheated on my mother several times and it's upsetting because he is meant to be a father.  He might have classified himself as one, but in my head, he was nothing but a stranger.

"Wake up sweetie."

"Do I have to mom?"

"Yes!"

I got out of bed and got dressed. It was my first day of high school.  I was excited, I got to go to a normal school and not be homeschooled.  I was also scared, mostly because I might be bullied like I was most of grade school.  Then again, there is a chance I could make friends! I kept thinking. 

"Here is your breakfast sweetie!" my mom said as I entered the kitchen.  "Thanks, mom!" I sat down at the table hoping my 'father' didn't show up.  I started eating, right when I was walking out the door I was hit in the face.  I didn't even need to open my eyes. It was my father.  I got up and tried to leave as quick as possible, but he grabbed me.  I knew what was going to happen.  I felt a jolt of pain up my spine. I quickly fell to the ground and heard my mother yelling.  The door slammed behind me.  I ran to school with a bloody face from hitting the ground.  I finally got to school as the bell rang.

I had to wash up before eating lunch.  I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and face when two other girls came in behind me.  This won't be good! I thought as I was watching them through the mirror.  "HEY FATTY! YOU COULD LOSE A COUPLE HUNDRED POUNDS!" one yelled.  "W-who are you?" I replied quietly. I was trying to not get beat up on my first day, or make a bad impression.  "You obviously must be new, all the better, right Lily?" questioned the other girl.  "Ugh, that means she doesn't know who we are! But she will be fun to play around with! I'm Lily, that's Lillith, all you need to know is to stay out of our way! Understood?" demanded Lily.  "Y-yes," I said back trying to leave.  Another girl! Let's hope she isn't as bad.  I thought as another girl came inside the bathroom.  "Leave her alone Lily and Lillith!" she demanded forcefully. "Why should we?" questioned Lillith.  "Or else.." the girl replied with a dark stare into their eyes. "Okay, okay!" Lily screeched in fear. They ran out with the look of sudden fright.  The girl turned to me and smiled. "Hi, I'm-"
