Mary began to walk forward when I grabbed her cape.

"Mary I-I can't do this..." My bottom lip trembling, hands shaking, she just smiled.

"You're really scared of some clown in a sewer? It's only a stupid myth (Y/N)..."

"BUT WHAT IF? WE WOULD BE WISHING THAT IF-" I could feel my body trembling and shaking. What if it wasn't a myth? But- there are reasons why it is called a myth.

"You can't tell me you honestly believe that stupid myth!" She laughed. "Let's just get in there. If anything happens," She gestured to William. "He'll protect you."

   I sighed. "Fine."

William glared at Mary. "Way to throw me under the bus." Mary giggled and Daniel smirked.

I watched William and Mary walk into the sewer, my own feet slowly creeping forward. My chest tightened up, my stomach cramping, and my hand suddenly...warm. I was about to scream when I looked down to simply see another hand locked into mine.

I sighed and blushed. "Hey..." I looked up to see Daniel, slightly blushing too. "It"ll be okay (Y/N)."

Nodding, I slowly walked forward. Mary and William were stopped up ahead and waiting for us. She noticed our interlocked hands and smiled at Daniel, causing him to let go. I glared at Mary and she simply smiled.

"Guys," William spoke softly. "The path splits ahead. Wanna split girls and boys?"

I was about to deny when Mary nodded and grabbed my hand, dragging me down the path to the right. I just stared at Daniel as he stood there, then turned to Mary, fear wrapping around my heart.
