I ran as fast as my legs would carry me to the smoking hole hoping that he would be there. I had no idea on how I was going to save him, I only knew that I had to get there before any demons did. I went through the trees holding the branch for Augustus. When we arrived at the Smoking hole, it was quiet and eerie. I listened closely to hear for any sign of Miles. A few minuets of silence were broken by quiet sobs. I walked down to the plastic chairs and found Miles with a knife in his hand.
"Miles?" I say as I walk around the chair to face him.
"A-Alaska?" Miles spoke in between sobs. I nod and cautiously move closer to him.
"Miles, put the knife down" I say moving slowly closer.
"You're not real" he says closing his eyes and gripling the knife tighter.
"Yes, I am" I say as I touch his cheek and wiping away a salty tear. He seems supprised at my touch and looks up into my see green eyes.
"NOO!" he screams. "You're dead!" Which was true. I didn't even know how he was able to see me.
"Alaska!" Augustus shouts in a worrying tone. I turn round and see a demon. It looked just like a human with the exception of the cracked jet-black skin and blood shot eyes. It had no other facial features only those eyes that could devour a hundred souls in one go. I was not going to let Miles be one of them. I take out my axe and slice the demon in half.
"We've got to go" I say to Miles as I pull him up out of the chair, The knife drops with a clash as it hits the stone.
"What the..." Miles says as he stares at the demon. The demon was piecing itself back together.
Crap a level 3 Demon, just what I need .
"I'll explain later, but now run."I say as I get my eternal blade out. An eternal blade was the only weapon that could slay a level 3 demon. I didn't expect to see one so soon.
"Miles! Run!" I shout at him but he just stands there, frozen. I turn round to face him and see two more demons.
Damn they were fast!
"Help would be appreciated Gus!" I say as I take a swing at the newly fixed demon.
"Oh right" He says as he rushes to the other side of Miles. The demons edge closer. I slay the first demon and join Augustus. He slays one and I slay the other. We turn round to see another demon just about to touch Miles. If a demon touches a mortal, the mortals soul belongs to the demons. That's what they feed off of, innocent mortal souls. I quickly slice through the demons arm and then stab it in the torso. An ear piercing scream escaped it somehow and the demon was just a pile of black ashes.

So juicy chapter. You're gonna have to wait until next week to find out what happens. MUHAHAHA! I feel so evil!
