Naomi you better be up! I heard my mother yelled. I am I yelled back rolling my eyes. I got up and went into the bathroom. Last day of school I said to myself staring into the mirror. I grabbed my phone playing some music.

I hopped in the shower for thirty minutes, then I got out brushing my teeth. I walked in my room figuring out what outfit to wear.

I put on my clothes grabbed my purse and phone and went straight downstairs. Hi mommy I said kissing her cheek. Hey baby she said making her some cereal. Last day of your Junior year she said. Yes finally I said smirking. Just then my phone ranged. Hello I said. Baby I'm outside Ryan said. Ight here I come I said. He hung up. Welp ma I gotta go love you I said. Love you too she said walking into the living room. I ran outside and hopped in the car. Hey big head he said. Hey I said with a chuckle. Ready he said. Yes I said. He bagged up out the driveway.

How is your morning so far he asked. Good. How about yours I asked? Coo he said stopping at a red light. Just then I started to feel really nauseous like I have been feeling for the past two weeks. I clenched my stomaching. You good boo he asked. Nope I feel like I gotta throw up I said. Okay baby two more minutes he said.... We arrived at school. I got out and ran into the bathroom and let everything go. I went to the sink and rinsed out my mouth popping some mint gum in. I walked out seeing Ryan, Destiny, Jamir, Kayla and Trey at my locker. Move niggas I said. Hey bestie Destiny said. Hey boo I said opening my locker. You okay Ryan asked kissing my cheek. Yes I said. Throwing up again Kayla asked. Yeah I nodded. Maybe you got a stomach virus Trey said Wrapping his arms around Destiny. Destiny and Kayla looked at each other. Guys I'm going to the doctors I said. Yeah baby you need some medicine Ryan said. Nah I'm good I said. But this has been happening for two weeks Kayla added. Don't worry I'm fine y'all I said as we walked to the cafeteria. We sat at our regular table. I had brought some Oreos and peanut butter from home and started bashing. Everyone was looking at me like I was crazy or something. Y'all want some I asked. No Trey said. Well can y'all stop staring I asked getting annoyed. Baby that's not normal Ryan said. Fine I'll leave I said getting up and storming out. I walked to my first hour class( Calculus) lately I've been getting mad over the smallest things and crying over dumb shit. I hate when I pms before my period comes it's so annoying. My teacher walked in. Good morning everyone Mr. Ed said. Ima take attendance and y'all can do whatever, just don't be loud he said. I put my earphones in and laid my head down.........*skip to lunch*

I got in the lunch line and got some pizza, fries, some apple sauce, some Doritos and some apple juice. I walked to the table and immediately started eating. Damn sister no hi Jamir asked. I waved and continued eating. They was all staring at me once again. Yes I asked rolling my eyes. Nothing baby slow down Ryan said. I'm sorry I'm starving I said stuffing fries in my mouth. I opened my juice and chips.... ten minutes later I ate everything, nothing was left. Maybe that's why you're always throwing up Kayla said. Why I asked. Cuz you eat all day everyday she said. Maybe I said nodding. My mom scheduled my an appointment to the doctor after school, cuz she thinks I have a virus I said. Good Destiny said...... *skipping to the end of the day*

Ryan drove me home. I kinda went off on him in the car so he's mad at me right now. I walked in the house. Ready my mom asked. Yes I said walking to the car. How was your last day of school my mother asked turning on the ac. It was coo I threw up again I said. Awwwn my baby has a virus my momma said poking her lip out. I shook my head chuckling a little bit. I'll be fine I said. Yeah you just need some medicine she said......

When we arrived at the doctors it was a lot of people. We signed in and sat down and I already got annoyed. It sure is packed in here my mother said. Right I said pulling out some fruit snacks. I leaned my head on my mom waiting... waiting.... waiting... and waiting nearly falling asleep until my name was called. "Naomi Waters" this lady called. She was very pretty, she had a short curly mini fro she looked bi racial and she was tall. That's me I said standing. Do you need me my mom asked. No I got it I said walking away. When we got in the room she told me to put on one of those gowns. She stepped out and I undressed myself and tried putting on the gown. These damn things are complicated. She came back in five minutes later. I'm gonna ask you a few questions. When your mom called she said you've been nauseous and throwing up for two weeks she said. Yes I nodded. Okay ready for the questions? she asked. Yes I said. Any sexual inter course? she asked. Yes I said. She started typing. Last period ? She asked. Ummmm last month.. wait no... March I said. She started typing again. Any food you may have eaten you think could've got you sick she asked. No I said shaking my head. Okay well can you pee in this cup. She handed me a clear cup and directed me toward the bathroom. Before I entered I asked why. So we can run some test she said. Okay I said walking in..... after I peed in the cup she took it I guess to the pee lab or something. I put back on my clothes and waited for about thirty minutes. She walked in and came with a clipboard. Okay sweetie you don't have a virus she said. Food poisoning I asked. No she said. Then what's wrong I asked. You are pregnant she said. I looked at her and busted out laughing. Come on doc stop playing I said. I'm not kidding she said smiling. You're scaring me I said. She showed me the papers. My stomach dropped. I don't believe it. I'll give you two pregnancy test so you can take at home she said. I didn't say nothing just shocked. Do you want your mother in here she asked. No I'll tell her myself I said. Okay she handing me two test. You are free to go she said. I put the test in my purse and walked back to the waiting room.

Twenty minutes later..... When we finally got home I raced to the bathroom. I pulled out the tests and peed on them. The directions said wait for five minutes. And that seemed like forever.... I looked in the mirror taking a deep breath as the timer went off. I looked down and couldn't believe my eyes. Both of them said positive. I lost all feelings in my legs and slowly kneeled down using the sink for support. My breathing got a little heavy. Naomi you okay my mother asked. Yes I'm good I said still breathing a little heavy. Looking at the results a lot ran through my mind.

I went into my room and laid on my bed. I shedded some tears. Then those few tears turned into a silent sob.
