Where do we go?
When nobodies home
Follow the sound
Of the troubled
Who do we see?
When we feel pain
the nearest hospital
I hear it calling me, It won't let me sleep, It's too loud to ignore.
I see it in my dreams, I feel choking me, I can't let it go.
My shadow stays dark- like the rings around my eyes
They burn from insomnia
and how much I've cried.
I know I'm crazy, I'm antisocial, I'm easy to forget.
But in the end-
I still have myself.
I would treat you better than the ones before me
I would carry you through times too much to bear
I would shine the little light I've got to make you shine brighter-
-I'd take you higher
Where do we go?
When nobodies home
Follow the sound
Of the troubled
Who do we see?
When we feel pain
To the nearest hospital?
I know I'm crazy, I'm antisocial and I'm easy to forget
I still have myself
in. the. end.
