I was flying toothless I don't know why I've been feeling depressed lately I just needed to get out I found a boat it didn't look like a dragons hunter boat so we decided to check it out "common bud" said me to toothless I take out inferno and look around the boat till I hear a baby's cry I rush to the room to see something horrifying a child on it's on with its parents dead next to it I check it's parents pulse nothing then I see it stab wounds 'they saved their child but someone ended them' thought me I grab the child and see a note.

Hello please take care of our child she is called hicca we will die of lost of blood because the dragons hunters attacked us we managed to fend them of their is no one u can give this child to our island was destroyed everyone but us was dead please take care of her a fathers last word please I beg of u this child if she is not dead please for a dead father help her grow something I couldn't do I beg of u please.

I couldn't leave this child this father worked so hard to protect i stare into hicca's eyes "I will keep u I won't let anyone harm u" said me as I took the bag that has the milk and give one to her she starts to drink the bottle I go on toothless I use one hand to hold the child and the other to hold onto him she giggles and I instantly feel my depression going away I smile "go slow" I whisper to toothless "are u ticklish" I said in a baby voice and start to tickle her she laughs I stop and smile as she opens her eyes a beautiful emerald green facing back at me I give her a kiss on the for head "common bud can we go a little faster" said me as we take of "WOOHOO" I shout and she giggles racing her arms I cry tears of happiness "hello hicca ur parents are dead but I'll always protect u" said me as I lift her to my face as she grabs my nose then I don't have any depression only pure happiness.

We ride back to the edge and snotloud looks like he's hungry "oh good u brought food" said snotloud as he tries to take hicca "touch her snot And i kill u" said me taking her close to me "HER" screamed everyone as I show them hicca "oh she's a a baby not food" said snotloud and he took her away from me "give me her back NOW" I said "no u dint bring us back food and I'm more responsible then u so I should keep her" said snotloud "oh bad move" said ruff I tackle him to the ground "give me her back or u won't live to see tomorrow snot" said me "u ur kidding" said snotloud "oh I'm not kidding" said me "here"he says as I get of him and he throws hicca "HICCA"screamed me as I caught her she giggled "I swear ur getting more like me"said me "wait how did u get another child" said Astrid "if u think I cheated then ur wrong.." said me as I sit on a chair everyone looking at me "I found her on a fishing boat that was attacked by dragon hunters her parents died" said me as everyone gasped "and I found a note that said she has no one no where to go and it said please take care of her and if u think I'm lying then here" said me I put the note on the table and fed hicca "that's just weird" said tuff "what's weird" said me "u,fatherhood and everything ur our leader how are u gonna cope with that and a child" said tuff "yeah for once hiccup I think tuffs saying something none idiotic" said fishlegs "I don't care I'm taking care of this child even if it costs me my position as leader"said me "why hiccup" said heather "well heather if this was ur child would u abandon it just for a job" said me "no but that's the point it's not ur child" said heather and ruff "I know that but I couldn't abandon her it's not who i am besides I'm gonna be chief one day so I'm still gonna be a leader just not the leader of the edge" said me "alright then" said everyone "I want a leader how would give up everything for someone" said Astrid "I want a leader able to make tuff decisions" said heather "I want a leader who is kind to everyone" said ruff and tuff "I want a leader who knows the hard decisions and hard things he has to do" said fishlegs "so Astrid" said me as I was still playing with hicca "no u" said everyone but snotloud "no I want me to be leader" siad snotloud "I gotta go make a crib for hicca cya later guys" said me "can I help" asked fishlegs "um I can do it myself but sure if u want" said me as I carried hicca to my hut to see a already finished crib "um how did u get here before me" said me "I took meatlug" said fishlegs painting "um I can paint" said me "really"asked fishlegs "yeah I don't really tell anybody that" said me as I took the paintbrush and did a beautiful flower patterns and a flower with at the top the words my little flower at the top "what do u think" asked me looking at a amazed fishlegs "that's amazing" said fishlegs as I get a few furs and sort the bed out I grab hicca and put her in the crib "hey my little flower we gotta get some sleep now ok" said me as I kiss her cheek "goodnight fish" said me as I yawn "goodnight hiccup" said fishlegs as he leaves  'oh no i have to tell my dad and I don't wanna bring hicca with me" thought me
