Blast From The Past

Today is the start of my journey as a wife. I've been praying for this day since the very first time I laid eyes on my soon to be husband. I was sadly stood up by my date and then I laid eyes on the finest piece of meat. I knew it was love at first sight from the moment I laid my eyes on him. He always showed me love, there's no one else I would rather spend my life with than him. He's the sun and I'm the moon.

"Cheri are you ready yet?" my sister asked

"Girl don't rush me, it's my wedding day" I responded

"Your man sweating bullets and my babies hungry" She said while rubbing her tummy

"Alright ill be nice and hurry up only for my babies though" I said while laughing

I rubbed my sisters' belly through her dress and touched up on my hair and makeup one last time. We all walked out the doors of the dressing room and made our way to the church. Sweat drenched my hands, I have never been this nervous in my entire life. Finally making our way to the double doors of the church. We got into formation and I constantly fanned myself in order to sustain from crying. I paid money for my face to get beat.

As all my brides' maids and groomsmen entered the church, my anxiety levels reached its peak. It was my turn to walk down the aisle. The doors opened once again but for me, I grasped my fathers' arms as we both made our way down the aisle. Everyone smiled and gawked as I made my way down the aisle. As I laid eyes on the huge piece of chocolate that stood in front of me, I began to cry. This man is truly an angel in my eyes. He smirked and winked at me as I stood in front of him. As the priest spoke his truth, I completely blocked him out and sustained myself. Dirty images clouded my minds and I had to keep myself together because I am currently in the church.

The priest asked us to recite our vows

"I have never met such a beautiful caring woman in my life until I met you. You're the peanut to my butter, the rice to my peas. I am so grateful for you and I will never hurt you. You're my guardian angel and I can not thank god enough for sending you. I can imagine you having my children and raising a family together. I just want to say that I love you so much."-Husband

"You're about to make me cry right now, stop I can't ruin my makeup. I just want to say that I truly love you. There's no one in the world that ill rather be with. Since the first day I laid eyes on you, I knew you were the one. You cater to my every need and I love you for that. You make sure I'm always straight. I feel as if I hit the lottery and you're the prize. I'll always be there for you baby and I hope you feel the same." -Cheri

After we finished our vows the priest had begun to speak again.

"I now pronounce you misses and mister Ezra Cole."
