~Year 2040-
We were a family. Not traditional, not even in the slightest. Not even by blood. We didn't grow up together, but we did; however, learn to work as a family.
Our meaning of family was built off of this friendship that was created so long ago over Twitter(the queen of all social media back in the day). We met through the mutual stanning(that means superfan) of twin Youtubers named Veronica and Vanessa Merrell. We all were added into the Twitter group chat called "Reading Merrell" created by one of its members, Valentina, she was my first friend in the whole fandom. Our Twitter group chat then led to a group chat on Facebook Messenger, where it stayed for the next 5 years. We all had so much fun and we made so many group calls.
Our "official" members were Valentina, she was from Texas, Violette, who was living in Iceland, Bea, from Utah, Aden, he lived in India and was the only guy, and finally Hana, who was in Denmark. We all dreamed of meeting and just the thought of being in the same room as one another was enough to bring tears to our eyes. No matter what happened we were always there for each other, even when something would go wrong and we would feel helpless. Being thousands of miles away from each other can be a real hope killer.
Soon enough the inevitable happened and we began to drift apart.
