In late June, my mom is out on an errand and my dad put me to sleep. I wake up to the sound of an ambulance and my dad yelling outside at a man in a uniform, "That's my wife in there! At least let me see her!"

He comes inside and cries, as he comes into my room I pretend to sleep. My dad suddenly shakes me and tells me to get up, get dressed and hurry up. So I get up to brush my teeth and get dressed when I go outside I see my mom being loaded in a big truck and 2 wrecked cars.

I have a million questions so I ask, "Daddy why is mommy in a big truck? Where are we going? Why are we leaving her? What happened?" He just didn't answer, but he did cry all the way to the hospital.

I see her in a white bed with her eyes closed, I try calling her she won't answer me. Nothing is happening. "Mommy?" Still no reply. When we get home all I can do is think, still so tired, so I sleep.

Next morning everything is silent. We go to visit her a couple more times, she never answers. Two years later she is gone. We don't visit the mom anymore, but my dad got really busy.

My dad has a lot of people come over at the house and I have to stay upstairs. I see some things and I usually hear them speak, but I don't know what they say half the time. "......What would be best?......gold one...date?...I'm so sorry for your loss."

Next thing you know we are at an old church, and in a yard where people are buried. My dad throws dirt on top and they start to slowly release mom into the ground. My dad cries, but I don't, I don't know how to feel.
