Chapter 2 : Being Cowardly Smart (2)

Ivory has to raise her arm to blocked the blinding sun rays. She's sweating and feel uncomfortably due to heat.
Everyone wears an old chinese or japanese type of clothing like her.
She wonders why no one invented T-shirts till this moment.

"Miss,you are perspiring sweat.
Let this maid handle the pawning so you can stay in the tree shade and wait for me."

Ivory didn't reject her idea.She's so sick of the heat and feels like dying.
She conveniently hide in a shade away from the bustling people in the market.
She has faith in May.If May betrays her no one in this world can be faithful anymore.That is how much she trust her.
In the bustling of people Ivory heard a music.
A music that is very familiar to the original owner of the body.
She stands up and decided to walk toward the park.
There she saw the man playing a harp with his delicate finger that is more delicate than to female and another girl,timid and shy happily watching him perform.

Ivory sigh when her heart felt a stinging pain.
The original owner of the body resented the female and still loves the man but what ever she felt before Ivory has nothing to do with them so she decided to leave.

As she's about to go,she step on a dried branch of a tree.It snaps with a crisp sound and the harp music stops.

I'm dead.

Ivory thought to herself how shameful it was.
She was discovered by her ex fiancé and his present fiancée peeping on them.
Even though she doesn't care about their rendezvous,it's hard to deny it since the engagement just been cancelled recently.

"Ivy.." The sound of the stiff and cold voice of the man made Ivory flinched.

She doesn't know how the original Ivory likes this unfeeling and cold man but he really makes her scared.

Before she turns around she decided to act cool.
The original owner of her body makes a fuss and rashly went to the woman's house to make trouble and this cold man unfeelingly toss her out of the other woman's manor.
That is the reason why she commit suicide.
But to Ivory,this is not her problem.
She wants to live safety and doesn't care about any handsome man.
She is never into handsomeness.
She likes staring at them,admiring them but no more than that.

"Brother Ken,i-it's been awhile."
She choose to play it cool!
This is her struggle to survive.

"What are you doing here?" The new fiancée, Violet,went to stand beside the unmoving cold man and hook her arm in his,showing her affection without being too clingy.

A jealous woman is the scariest and most annoying thing.
Better to clear up the misunderstanding.

"Sister Violet,I wanted to see you.
The last time I went to your home.I-Im really sorry!" As she says it,she kneels down and kowtow to her.Groveling to her and his feet.
Her long and soft black hair touches the soil but she doesn't mind at all.

Violet wants to make trouble for this woman who thinks she's special but only a trash but can't believe she will be so low as to grovel in front of her.
Even the emotionless man poker face is shaken for a bit until no trace of it remain.

"W-what are you doing?" Violet who wants to play a timid and weak girl infront of her fiancé suddenly face a dilemma of how to play it cool after being shaken this badly.

"No! I was wrong. Not only do I not deserve Brother Ken,I got mad when our engagement brokes.It's because I believe he will be the only one who can change my life even though I'm a trash.But who am i? Brother Ken is someone like a God.Very talented and cool.Only a woman like Sister Violet deserve such a man in this whole kingdom,no,in this world!"
Ivory keeps grovelling while speaking loudly as if she's afraid they won't hear her.

Violet face shines.
She is flattered and She's extremely happy being praise wholeheartedly but she has to regain herself so the joy won't show to her face.
Ken look at the grovelling woman,a flicker of disgust flash to his eyes but he is stunned for a moment when the woman suddenly look up and look at him straight to his eyes.

"Brother,I wronged you all these years for being undeserving of you.I wish you and Sister Violet a good married life!" She sincerely says as her eyes shine and sparkle.

Ken nod his head and turn around.

"So it's like that.Sister Ivory is very sensible. To my next birthday,we will officially announce our engagement.I wil send you an invitation.I hope you can come." Violet sweetly smile and help her up.
But a glint of sinister flash in her eyes.

Ivory who is very sensitive with this understand.
She is not convince with her performance yet.

What a very complicated girl? I already kowtow and grovel but she still wants more from me?

Ivory smile faintly.
"I don't think I deserve to come.But I will wish for your happiness from afar."

No way I'm wasting time to attend in your party.I can see you finding trouble for me.Never mind.

"Come on.I want you to come. Or you are only faking it and doesn't want to let go of Brother Ken?"
Violet pout cutely but Ivory can tell the woman infront of her is very vicious.

Ivory timidly shake her head and then blush.

"I don't have a cloth worthy to be invited in your home.I'm afraid I will only lower the standard of your party and I hate to make another scene for you.Sister,I appreciate your kindness but I'm afraid a trash like me will be really unsightly!"

"ENOUGH!"

Ivory and Violet got startled from the unfeeling man's voice.
His eyes has a glint of hatred.
Ivory's heart pounder.

Did I overdid the acting?
Why is he mad?
I already refuse to take part in his affair,is he thinking that I'm also faking it?

"Brother Ken,Sister Ivory is only concern for me.Please don't get mad at her." Violet has no choice but to depend Ivory infront of Ken even though she doesn't want to.

"Sister Violet,I think Brother Ken is only mad that I stay longer than I should have.You two are dating and I won't disturb you further." Ivory bow her head and leave hurriedly..
Shes is really scared about the unfeeling man and want to dart away.

Seeing the bustling street again,Ivory heave a sigh.

"Ivy."

Ivory almost screams when she heard the unfeeling man voice behind her.
