The Promise

"Aiyyappa Manik! Get up! The kida will come" she said trying to get out of his hold

"Hmmm" he hmmed and kissed her neck making her steel for a second

"Manik Get up!" she said composing her but she didn't push him this time

"Ha I am up! I am up!" He said still sleeping when achanak se a bucket of water came was thrown on them

"Tusnami! Tusnami! Mumma baccho! Nandini!" he woke up as he saw his two devils laughing at him precisely them

Nandini looked at her kids agast as she was drenched totally

"Good morning" the kids yelled together and giggled

"You devils" Nandini was the first one to get up and run behind them as the house filled with their giggles

"Bacho! Bacho!" Arya yelled running away from Nandini reached Manik who picked her up with her waist and turned her upside down as she let giggling

"I am not leaving you little devil" he said as he started tickling Arya who laughed her guys out and by the time Nandini had caught Arav and started beating him with pillows

"Stop! Stop!" Arya said taking deep breaths as Manik held her close to him

"Challo bhot masti ho gai, go freshen up jaldi se" Nandini said to the kids who ran to their rooms

"Challo" Nandini said as Manik followed her to her room, it was simple and elegant

"Tumhare kapde mangva do" she said giving him a fresh toothbrush

Manik brushing his teeth went out and asked one of the butlers to get his clothes he got inside NavNi's house to an asked Nandini to send Navya and the Dhawan kids clothes with the butler

He got freshen up and went back to her room to see her standing in front of the wardrobe deciding what to wear and saw the door of bathroom open, taking a towel he just rushed and got in the bathroom

"Manik" Nandini yelled hearing the door lock

"Manik bhar niklo, Manik!" she yelled standing outside

"Manik I have to give office yaar" she winned kicking the door

"So do I Nandini" he said from inside

"Manik mujhe Arya aur Kavya ka lunch bhi bana hai" she said thinking this will made him com out

"Cabir is making their kuch and breakfast so bye Nandini let me take bath in peace" he said and then he did not reply to Nandini's any pleads

"Monkey Monster Manik Malhotra I will see you" she said and stromed out to Navya's room to get ready

Taking a bath Manik came out dressed himself and was setting his hair when Nandini walkes in a bath robe, her hairs wet, as she entered making his  breath stuck

Navya made the kids take bath and now they were playing out with Rudra and Samara, Cabir was already done bathing and was in the kitchen cooking so after her bath she came out wearing her dress and rubbing her hairs she looked up only to look Cabir starring at her intensely

He walked to her and caged her between the cupboard and himself maintaining their eye lock, her eyes involuntarily landed on his lips

"Can I have a kiss" he asked and she looked in his eyes to see him waiting for her permission so she just closed her eyes in submissions as seconds later she felt his lips on her

The kiss was slow and passionate with no urgency but full of belongingness

They broke the kiss as Navya had tears running down her cheeks and hugged him
