{Chapter 1} The Interview That Started it All

Start from the beginning

"Well, trust me, soon all the future big choreographers will look up to you and your success story, and when they're really famous they'll thank you for being such a majestic inspiration for them," I can't believe I still remember 'majestic' after all these years, and actually use it!

"Thanks. That truly means a lot coming from you. Really, like, that was really a big kick upwards for my self esteem. So how are you? You seemed lost in thought when I came up to you," she thanked me and then changed the topic back to me. Gosh I really don't want to talk about that...

"No problem, management hired you for a reason, right? You must have talent. Oh, it's nothing really, just some pre show jitters," I chuckled nervously and hope she drops it, it's only a half lie since I actually am a bit nervous. Of course no such thing happens.

"Are you sure? I know we just met but if you need to talk, I'm here for you kay? And really? THE Natasha Henderson gets nervous before a show? Wow, that's humbling for us that are a wreck before a performance," Danielle's voice was full of worry but then escalated to a shocked tone.

"What? I'm only human, right? Haha yeah, I guess it is nice for those really nervous people. I never really thought about it. So how old are you?"

"I am twenty seven years old and- oh sorry I have to take this call! Sorry!" she was interrupted by her cell phone playing an unfamiliar song. But it was catchy... I'll have to ask her about it later.

"Not a problem!" I smiled at her retreating figure and glanced at the monitor. Already half way through the second act? Wow, time flew!

"Natasha you're needed in the tech department!" yelled a random guy voice. I looked for the source but he was nowhere to be found. Mehh.

I walked over to the tech department and knocked on the door. A man, by the looks of it, about thirty or forty opened the door and pulled me in. He quickly strapped the wireless microphone stuff to my back under my jacket and told me that when I wanted to switch from the handheld wireless mic to the hands free headset wireless mic, I just had to simply press a button on the headset and talk into the headset and not the handheld. Easy enough, he then dismissed me and I walked back out. Turns out the second act was almost over and they would be going to commercials soon.

I went over to the hidden stage behind the sliding walls and took my place making sure everything was ready and positioned comfortably and correctly.

"And we're back! Here to perform one of her many hits, Natasha Henderson!" Ellen introduced me and the walls slid open to show the band and I in starting position.

~Did you forget that I was even alive?

Did you forget everything we ever had?

Did you forget, did you forget about me?

Did you regret ever standing by my side?

Did you forget what we were feeling inside?

Now I'm left to forget about us

But somewhere we went wrong

We were once so strong

Our love is like a song, you can't forget it

So now I guess this is where we have to stand

Did you regret ever holding my hand?

Never again, please don't forget, don't forget

We had it all, we were just about to fall

Even more in love, than we were before

I won't forget, I won't forget about us
