Dear Diary,

I got sent a letter from school today. Inside it held a new timetable presumably for when I go back, along with some homework that I had to complete and information about the upcoming soccer game during the holidays. I looked over the soccer game details and it sounds good, although I have nobody to come with me.

After that I just kind of threw the envelope on my dresser and left it there. The homework will be another problem for a different day.

My mum also spoke today. She asked me what was going on next door. I told her that the old neighbours had gone and that new ones were bound to pop up and she shrugged and soon fell back into sleep.

It's not healthy for her to skip meals and lay in bed all day but I don't know what to do. If I say something she'll surely flip.

But again, that's another problem for a different day.
