My Take:
This book is very upbeat, and I honestly could not stop reading it. It gives me vibes of a dark Narnia, and incorporates mythology, magic, and mid evil times into a rather delicious combination.
These different aspects come nicely together to form what is a novel of intensity and the desperation of one woman to find her way back to the real world. It shows how both destiny and blood do not define someone.
Highly recommend.
