Chris Gilbert was in the car with his parents,and Elena. When they drove off Wickery bridge. And hen he woke up with his sister next to him he didn't know what to do. He was of course glad he was alive and that Elena was alive but he didn't understand how. How could he and his sister made it out alive but not his parents?
Why did they die but not him and Elena? How did he not remember? He alas bond himself over their death,but I guess that happens when you watch you mother's eyes close looking at you,then your sisters before seeing your father shake his head then everything going black.
He couldn't remember a single thing. He couldn't remember what happened after closing his eyes. All he know was something big happened,because here he is alive and breathing while his parents are six feet underground.
He was adopted by the Gilbert parents. He felt like he should have at least tried to save him,because they saved him.
