On the Run

Hi guys, this is my first Wattpad story. I'm excited to write on here. I have all these story ideas floating in my head. I think I may just explode. Well, here's the extended summary ;)

Life is full of twists and turns. You find surprises around every corner of the world.

For Marabelle 'Mara' Stanford, her life has always been ordinary. She never stopped following her dreams, until one day the largest twist of her life came about.

Ignite Cafe was the Stanford family business her parents had started. Mara never wanted to be part of the business. She wanted to go explore the world and go to college and earn a real job.

After her parents' death, she tries her best to keep her parent' dream alive and breathing. She works stressful nights studying for school, and working tedious shifts at the cafe. One night, a wanted criminal tries to escape from the cops and runs inside the cafe to hide. Mara finds him, minutes after, hiding behind the cash register. Like a normal person, she didn't call 911, she stands staring at him holding a coffee mug above her head as a weapon and lets him go. But when she meets him again later, she does the worst thing ever: a promise.

Mara is in for some great twists and turns. She didn't know what she just signed up for. She's been "Igniting the fires that shouldn't have been lite".

05/14/19 — WARNING: I wrote the first 7 chapters when like 4-5 years ago. They're not amazing and I was thinking about continuing it now. I think if you wanna get to the action quicker, skip to chapter 5!
