***Skye's perspective***
"You can't stay there forever you know," I say startling Jemma. She was watching over Fitz's seemingly lifeless body again, holding his hand with the tightest grip I've ever seen any girl have. She must have fallen asleep at his side again because her hair had absented the perfect ponytail we all know miss Simmons to have and when she spoke she did so with a slight catch in her throat. "yes i know that but he's gotta wake up sometime right? and I want to be there when he does," she then pulled the sleeves of her cardigan over her fists to wipe her eyes and nose. poor thing she must have been crying again. I noticed that so its easiest to just smile and nod. Most of us just do that now. All Simmons really does now is watch over fitz, it should be cute because you know, its FitzSimmons but its kinda worrying really. she hardly speaks and when she does its "I'm going to check on fitz" with that distinctive English accent of hers. we've tried to get what happened out of her but all we get is "it was my fault, he was there for me so I need to be there for him, excuse me" and that's when she normally takes off.
I think in sort of know how she feels. With that betraying waste of space gone, its had an effect on all of us really. Apparently I haven't been speaking as much as I used to as Coulson so sweetly pointed out "Why are you not running your pie hole? you know what don't answer that,its giving my ears a rest" I just laughed and brushed it off but it seemed wildly out of character. He's definitely changed since this whole HYDRA thing came to light, whether its him dealing with the betrayal, or he stress of building up SHIELD from scratch, or the betrayal, who knows but some things different, May is the same as always, emotionless badass with a hint of sass running through her veins at all times. We hardly see her anymore due to the weekly visits to the disclosed location where Pierce and Ward are being held. (Ugh, Ward, I hate that guy, did you know he betrayed us?) May doesn't really talk about her time away, she says hes not allowed but then disappears for half a m hour to speak to Coulson. I hope she gets to be at him up. No I don't. you know what yes I do. I mean he slept with May, May of all people he deserves every Japanese martial art kick in the face that I can't even pronounce, that he gets
