growing up, i was timid
i would walk to the edge
scared, uncertain,
i would turn my back and walk the other way.
i missed out on a lot
because i never took the leap
and some of my biggest regrets
lie in these past actions.
now, though,
i have learned to run to the edge and jump
with all of the wild passion in my soul
without hesitation or apprehension.
to do this, it takes courage
but when you reach the end
it is worth the dive.
