amelia clark had always considered her family to be the epitome of boring. but when her dad dies, amelia inherits a box that's full of case files of missing kids that'd disappeared years prior. she thinks nothing of it considering the fact that her dad was a detective. however, she's in for quite the ride when kids start missing again.

• the children that had gone missing years prior had gone missing 5 years ago.
• all the missing kids were from 9-12 when they went missing, making them around amelia's age. *
• this is set in the year 1986.
• all the missing kids were from poor families. *
• corey's little sister should be the one of the kids to go missing after amelia finds the box. *
• corey is from a poor family and amelia is middle class.
• when corey's sister goes missing, nobody should care that much because they're poor. *
• people should only start caring once a rich kid goes missing for the first time.
• amelia is a bisexual and corey is a lesbian.
• slow burn for amelia and corey's relationship.
