Authors note:

Please note that this is my first go at trying to fully write a novel. Any positive comments are appreciated.  Trigger warning, this story may include scenes of anxiety, panic attacks and depression. Ignore the change in type, from regular to bold this chapter included some scenes of editing and addition to it. This will be the only mixed font part. :)

Lots of love

NOW TO THE STORY!

7:35am

I'm standing at the bus stop and I'm freezing my butt off. The bus was supposed to come fifteen minutes ago and I'm about to give up and walk home but I don't think I'll make it all the way especially since I'm already a human Popsicle. I start to turn back up the street and leave the bus stop when a beat up old pickup truck pulls up and he honks his horn. I look up and the worlds cutest guy is sitting there staring at me.

"Excuse me mam, do you need a ride to school?" He asks and runs his finger through his beautiful blonde hair and smiles at me.

"Actually you're just in time. I was about to leave as it seems the bus completely forgot about me."

"We'll come get in." He says as he pats the empty seat closest to me.

"How do I know I can trust you?" My hand on the door knob.

"Here's your proof. It is the same as yours." He says as he flashes me the name on his letterman jacket. Nickolaus Carter, a football patch sewn right below his name.  I glance down and remember I'm wearing my letterman jacket too.

"Come on get in I promise you're safe with me. And I can tell you're freezing your butt off" he reaches over and opens the door and I can feel the heat as it exits from the truck.

"Okay why not" I say as I climb inside and roll the window back up (it was only open a tiny bit and this is an old truck without auto window or locks) I buckle up and try to warm my hands as he starts to drive to our high school.

"You know it's not nice to leave a pretty girl standing in the cold." He stopped at a stop sign and glance over at me and began to turn in the direction of our school. My hands are almost thawed when he reaches over and take mine in his. Don't worry he's a a red light and we've been caught in rush hour traffic as we near the school. He's rubbing his hands all over mine and blowing hot breath on to them. I could definitely get used to this. The quarterback of the football team warming my hands.

Then the light turns green and he turns into the bojangles drive thru.

"Hi welcome to bojangles! How may I help you!"

"Yes I would like two hot chocolates and two berry Bo biscuits please."

"Ok you total will be $_4.98_ at the first window." The lady says as he begins to pull through. He pays with cash as a lady hand him his order.

"Thank you!"He shouts to the lady as he pulls away and hands me a hot chocolate. I take the hot chocolate and lift the cup up to my lips, the steam coming out of the drink hole an fogging up my glasses a little bit. I take a sip and the chocolate is just the right temperature, not to hot and not to cold and the chocolate is rich with a little bit of whip cream on top.

"Thank you. This defiantly makes this morning better." I wanted to say but I didn't want to sound weird. The heat from the foam cup continues to warm my hands.

"Here take this." he says as he reaches inside the bag and pulls out a tan container and two sets of utensils. I set my hot chocolate inside the cup holder under the radio and take it from him. He pulls into the student parking lot and into his parking space, slot number twelve, the same number as his football jersey. He puts the truck in park, leaving it on for warmth.
