MONDAY:

My car hums along the early morning road. Snow falls ever so slightly in the winds. I tap my fingers to the drum beat of Chop Suey.  The school approaches up the hill. I smile weakly with tiredness and pull down the car mirror, to check my hair. I don't look god awful, but it's not my best. I shrug and pull into the staff parking lot, placing my little car near the base of the school campus.

Sun peaks in from the windows. The school halls are cold this morning. Fresh breezes kiss at my hands, making me bawl them up into my sweater sleeves. Shoes tap loudly along the polished floors. Rushing students brush past and smile sweetly. How could a smile not be plastered on my lips?

"Morning Mr. McLoughlin." Sarah utters, as she briskly walks to her class. I smile warmly in return. I adjust my collar and walk to my first class. The bell blares loudly.

"Top of the morning to you class!" I exclaim, smiling out to my students.

"Good morning Mr. McLoughlin." They reply groggily in unison.

"Come on, I know it's Monday but give me some more energy!" All I get is more silence, I sigh defeated. "Ok, so this morning we are learning about how the inside of a computer works. This will be important for the coming weeks, as we will eventually will get to build one! I would like pens and books out please and thank you. You should all be taking notes." I pause, while the loud rustling of papers and clicking of pens fills the classroom.

After a long day at school, I finally get home. The house smells amazing, I can hear music coming from the kitchen. I can't help but smile.

"Hey Sean!" Felix exclaims. He looks adorable in his apron that says, 'KISS THE COOK'.

"Hey babe." I reply leaning in to kiss my Husband, his soft lips are only on mine for a moment before he pulls away. I dismiss it and continue.

"What's for dinner?" I ask, wrapping my arms around his waist.

"Creamy mushroom and bacon ravioli." Is the simple reply. His tone is distracted and separated from the conversation, almost uninterested.

"That sounds amazing." I reply, kissing the back of his neck. "I'm going to get dressed into some comfy clothes I'll be right back." Felix nods and nods.

"Sure thing. Dinner will be ready soon." He calls back as I leave the kitchen.

"Ok!"

We sit in silence at our dinner table together. Occasionally I glance up and meet with those deep blue eyes that Felix has. Our silence is comforting, but also concerning. He is never usually this quiet.

"Felix this is so good." I exclaim, a mouth full of ravioli. I swallow and look up to see a smile plastered on his face.

"Thanks. I knew you'd like it." I nod and continue eating happily.

We clean our dishes together, smiling at one another every now and then. As we finish Felix turns to me and traces my figure with his gaze, he licks his lips seductively. We embrace in a kiss our soft lips smashing against one another in sync. I brake our kiss for air. Felix moves down to my neck and presses kisses down my jawline.

"Hey...hey...not...tonight." I manage in between small moans and pants. It's a Monday night. What is with him tonight? Felix turns to me his eyes look deflated and defeated. Then like the flick of a switch there is a glint of lust present in his eyes.

"Why not? Come on babe I know you want to." He smirks and continues down my neck and grabs at my collar with his mouth.

"Felix we can't-" I try, but he is already unbuttoning my shirt. He seductively licks and bites his lips. I shouldn't. I can't tonight. He pulls open my shirt and kisses down my chest. I moan and pant in response. Fuck it.
