NEED

Ch- Always LATE

Late! I am so late. Actually, I think late should be my middle name. Today is an important day for me and I don't understand one thing, How!!! How can I screw up with alarm on important days like this??? I set the alarm on my phone but not set the date, so the alarm is set up for tomorrow. Like seriously!

So I skip some steps of my daily routine like bath.. yuu huuu! This is me meeting is more important than a bath. So yes! And makeup will do the trick.
So when I reached my floor everyone has the same expression as I have in the morning. Horror!! Because I am so late.

I just go straight to my desk collect my files. But Before I enter a meeting room my best buddy Darius stop me. I know him since I start working on this tourism company which is approx 2 years.

" Hi, miss arena. 'I am always late'.. " he quotes my most used line.

" Bye Mr. ' I am always on the time.'.." I quoted his line.

" Don't sweat. three important people are yet to come." He said.

" Three! How come." I asked confusedly.

" First the boss who is very excited about your idea.
Second, your boss's boss's who is going to murder our boss if he does not like your idea.
Third, you because are going to present that idea." he said.
" You are such a motivating friend. Thanks. " I told him sarcastically.

Then I saw my boss Mr Robinson and CEO of this company Mr Matthew. I pushed the door and went into the room before they saw me.

So the meeting starts. I start my presentation.
" So this is how we can increase turn over of this company." I finished my presentation with this.

" Congratulation miss arena. I like your idea and you will work directly under my daughter in this project and if this plan works like how you tell us you will have that position permanently and yes you can select one person who understands this project and will be your partner." Mr Matthew shake my hand like he Is making a big deal with me which obviously is not a case.

Yes! Yes! This is the thing I want. Yes! I was literally dancing when I walk out of the meeting room.

Darius cornered me and said " So eree told me that the meeting is great and seree told me now you are my senior." He has a pet name for his ear one is eree and other is seree . His ear is his spy and to be very frank his hearing power is sharp like you werewolf type of sharp. He knows everything.

" Eree is right but seree is wrong.". I told him.

" I heard you are working with Paris Mathew the CEO's daughter ." he said.

" Yes. And I need a partner in this.So... I was thinking...." Then I start thinking.

" Thank you. You're great." with joy in his eyes he attacked me with a hug.

" Why are you thanking me. I never said it was you I am choosing as my partner" I told him.

" Ha! but you said seree is wrong it means you are not my senior. I am your partner." He said. Oops! No more acting.

" Ok. So from tomorrow -new office New things. Yay!! I am excited and tomorrow please be on time" he said and I ignored him.

Mr Matthew p.o.v

I shake her hand for this project. But this a big thing for me.. I need someone like her for my important deal. She is the right one. She is the solution. She is the one save my family name.
" I have found a solution to our problem. "I said to him
"Great. So let's start this ." Unknown person said.

Arena p.o.v

I am again so late. Please don't blame me for being late. I set the alarm and the date was right. But phone is under the bed right now. How! How this has happened is beyond my thinking. I always skip bath on my important days.. uhhh! This is so uurrrghh!

" How come you are always on time" sarcasm is heavy in Darius tone. He gives me coffee. Coffee is my second best friend.. I just love the smell and taste of it.. it soothes all my nerves.

" Thanks for the coffee .. now walk fast. We are already late." I told him.

" Don't worry erree told me our new boss is not here yet." He said. Oh!thank god.

We enter a new cabin at a slow pace and start discussing the project when there is a knock on the door.

" Sir mam. Miss Matthew wants to meet you in the office." A worker said.

I am nervous. I hope we get along. Otherwise, the stressful working environment will give me a headache.

I knock on the door. "Come in" the boss said.

"Good morning mam. I am arena and this is Darius Robb. " I said. She stood up and shook our hand.

" Hello. Have a seat and let's start this project. My father is very excited about this." She said.

She is so gorgeous. She is around height 5'6 and Brunette like me. But her eye is the most beautiful feature. It's sea green. Her aura is so sweet. She is all smile and encouraging and correcting me in between my presentation.

" So this is all. " I said after my presentation. Paris stands up to hug me tightly.

" It's so good, I am excited to work with brilliant minded people like you ." she said and hug me. Then her hug got tighter. Darius save me from this by coughing out loud.

"Are you ok." Paris asked Darius

"Yes. Can we go now." Darius asked Paris to which she only nods.

"Meet you on Monday guys. " We said our goodbyes.

The way Darius is looking at me I know he is in the mood of party .the way I am looking at him he knows I have no mood.

"Please. Let's go. We have 2 days for yourself you can go to your children later" he said. I am also a social worker. I love spending my time in Orphanage.

" No. You know I don't like the party. I had been in lots of clubs and disc. now they don't interest me" I told him

" I seriously don't believe this statement. You being a party animal."  He said.

" I am and was never been a party animal. bye see you on Monday" I said.

When I reached the orphanage all children make a circle around me and each one of them is telling me something. They are like
" Didi see my painting".....
" Didi..didi I miss you"...
" Didi I made a cake" so to stop them all
I said " who will catch me first will get a gift" and that's how we start chasing each other and spend our evening playing many games.

When night came all girls come to me and when girls meet they do one thing.. GOSSIPS! No! Sharing their love experience.YES! All little girls have slept.

"Didi. You never tell us your love story. You always make excuses. Today all little girls are sleeping. Now tell us your story." Reeta said. She is 17 years old.

" I don't want.." before I complete my sentence the girls interrupted me.

"Didi. The story doesn't start this way. It's start with once upon a time."simi said another girl she is 20 years old. They are in full mood for my life story.
This is like opening your old wound.

" Ok ok. So now I am going to start. But it's my story, so it starts with...
