Hi my name is Zara, and today I'm supposed to get a very important letter, a letter for Meath trials.Meath trials. work like this :there are scouts at your football matches and you hand your registration form up to the referee , then the scouts go to the referee whatever number you are say your jersey says no. 8 the scout says can I have no. 8 registration form . Then the scout gives your parents a call and tells them he will write out a letter saying you have done well enough to make trials .Right now I'm sitting looking out my window waiting for the postman to arrive . My mum called me downstairs for breakfast so I ran down the stairs starving for food , my dad asked me was I nervous for my letter ? I replied
saying " yes I'm really scared that my friends will make it and I won't" . My dad said " I'm sure you will make it don't worry ".
The postman didn't arrive until later that evening at 5pm ,when he did arrive I was still waiting on my bed .
OPENING THE LETTER
I ran downstairs when I seen the postman and opened my letter . I called my mam and dad and they watched me opening it . I was so nervous that I ripped the envelope , when I finally got the letter out I read it . The letter said " Dear Ms Zara Wall ,
I was watching you at one of your very important league matches and I seen some brilliant fighting in the back line and some really strong kicks . And for them reasons I am inviting you to come for Meath trials in Slane on the 21st of November 2018.
