I finished this wip and with it I bring a topic for debate- should killers get another chance in life, or should they be forever locked up/receive a death sentence? I'm actually curious on your thoughts- there could be many reasons for killing, and one may be willing to forgive or at least let them have another chance, but where do you draw the line where it is unforgivable?

You have those who kill through science in hopes of saving more lives, those who kill in war/political strife because it is their duty and what they're trained for, and those who kill out of mental instability/self preservation. All of them would kill to protect loved ones if they have to.

Does this make them good people who make mistakes for the right reasons, or bad people who kill for selfish reasons? Do they deserve mercy, when they didn't give others the same kindness? Ponder this question in terms of real life, as it is easy to forgive fictional people with fictional sins.
