A distant metal clanking sound wakes Violet up. She had fell asleep on the couch crying again. Over her situation. She sits up and stretches, cringing at the sound of her bones popping. Nearly blinded, Violet gets up and walks to the stairwell. She tugs her ratty white robe close to her as she makes her way towards the stairs.
A hard knock at the door makes Violet jump out of her skin. Her first thought is: HYDRA. She rushes upstairs to the bedroom that Blue and Carver share. When she gets to the door, Blue has an arrow ready. Her eldest son pushes her behind him as he carefully walks down the stairwell. Suddenly, the front door is kicked in. Blue lets his arrow fly and Violet screams as she ducks down on the stairwell. The lights all come on.
When Violet looks back up, she sees none other than Steven Grant Rogers at the door with Blue's arrow in his hand. He's in his Captain America uniform and has a nasty bruise/cut on the side of his face. Taken back, Violet pinches herself to see if she's dreaming. A technique she's remembered to use when she can't wake up from a nightmare. But she is not dreaming of this. Her emotions taking over, Violet rushes down the stairs and into Steve's arms. Their lips immediately attach, their arms wrapped tightly around each other. Blue rolls his eyes, disgusted at the sight of his parents kissing.
"Cap, what the hell are you doing here? You look like hell." Blue makes his way down the rest of the stairs.
Blue hears both Carver and Liberty's voices upstairs. Steve lets go of Violet, smiling down at her with a sad smile.
"Honey, what are you doing here?" Violet says concerned, smiling as she puts a hand to his chest. "What happened to your face?"
The sound of Carver and Liberty bouncing down the squeaky stairwell makes Steve look in their direction. When Liberty sees her dad, she freezes. She pinches herself, questioning if it were all a dream.
"Kids, Violet," Steve announces urgently, "pack what you can. We're leaving. Now."
Feeling angered, Liberty crosses her arms. She pops her hip out sassily.
"What? No hug? Not even a handshake?" Liberty spats out at Steve.
"Now, Libby!" Steve commands.
Violet turns to her, nodding. "Go sweetie."
Liberty shakes her head and stomps up the stairs. Violet turns to Steve confused. She wonders why she has a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach.
"Where are we going, Steve?" They both walk towards the stairwell quickly.
"Wakanda."

After packing what they could, they all headed out to the aircraft

After packing what they could, they all headed out to the aircraft. They mainly took clothing and small mementos that brought from Avengers Tower so long ago. Steve and Violet walk ahead of the kids, standing close together.
"So why are you taking us to Wakanda? Where's dad?" Violet squeezes Steve's hand. "Where is everybody? What happened?"
Steve turns sprung and ushers for the kids to hurry along. They can't stay for too long.
"I'm warning you, Darling. Don't be alarmed when you get inside." Steve says loud enough for her to hear. "Trust me."
Violet gives him a questionable look but nods anyways. When they get to the door of the aircraft, the two lovers usher the kids to run. The children do as told and run into the aircraft. Violet then walks in with Steve being the last. When Violet is inside, she can see somebody in the pilot seat.
"Hey, Clint—" And then that's when Violet sees him.
Violet grabs all three of her kids and pushes them behind her small body. The Winter Solider, formally known as James Buchanan Barnes or Bucky by Steve, sits on a bench staring at Violet. His ghostly blue eyes bring all the terrors come back to Violet's mind. The kidnapping Tony ordered, Alexander Pierce commanding HYDRA operatives to remove Violet's eggs, the artificial insemination to make a mutant child like Blue (Carver), the painful birth and amnesia HYDRA gave her. It all comes back by just seeing the Winter Solider in the flesh.
Steve steps around, guarding Bucky. "Violet—"
"Why the hell is he here, Steve? Don't you know—"
Suddenly, a figure in a black suit gets up out of the pilot seat. It takes the masks off to reveal a man. The man puts his hands up.
"Please," The man has an African accent "Sargent Barnes is not here to hurt anyone."
"And who the hell are you?" Violet snaps, holding onto Carver closer than the other two children.
"I am T'Challa, King of Wakanda." The man puts his hands down, "Captain Rogers has informed me of your situation. I am willing to help your family."
The kids all stare between the grown ups. Carver stares at Bucky, and Bucky stares back. On their way there, Steve gently explained that Bucky had a mutant son. The Winter Solider hasn't quite grasped the concept quite yet. He remembers Violet and HYDRA making him participate in an artificial insemination project, but not having a legitimate child with a girl whose also a Stark.
"Darling, it's okay. He's not going to hurt you or the kids." Steve says defensively, still guarding Bucky.
"How the hell do you know that? From the last that I knew, he tried to kill you Steve! He's with HYDRA!" Violet shouts, backing the kids out of the closed aircraft.
Suddenly, the aircraft takes off. Violet looks around frantically, holding onto Carver tightly. The boy still has his eyes locked with Bucky.
"Dad, what the hell is going on? Where's Clint?"
                            "And Papaw!" Liberty adds.
Violet walks over to Steve, staring at him with pleading eyes.
"Steve, what aren't you telling me? Why did you bring that Criminal here? Why is this Wakanda King here? Honey, tell me. Please."
Steve nods. "A few days ago, Tony signed a contract to imprison the Avengers so we won't do any harm to a vast majority of people. Putting us in cages. The government blames us for Sokovia and Nigeria."
"What happened in Sokovia and Nigeria?" Violet says concerned.
"How long has she been isolated from society?" Bucky says voice says through the thin air.
Steve sighs, holding onto Violet firmly. "A lot has happened since you left, Darling. It's going to take me a while to explain it all to you."
Violet wraps her arms around his neck. "Start from the beginning."
