Drinks?- Jenelope

Jennifer Jareau had seemed extra bubbly today. Her colleague, Penelope Garcia, wasn't sure if it was because her birthday was this week, which will lead to drinks on the one and only Derek Morgan, or if it was because she was finally free. JJ had been in a toxic, if you will, relationship. Her girlfriend had made her just feel awful about herself, telling her lies like she wasn't good enough or pretty enough. Of course, everyone who knew her, knew about her crush. Well not everyone. Penelope didn't.

"Knock, Knock baby doll" Penelope said while she tapped lightly on the blonde profiler's, open, office door. JJ looked up at her and smiled.

"Hey Pen." JJ said quietly, blushing a little.

"I just came to ask if you would like to go out for drinks with the team and I. You wont have to pay for a single drink. Its our treat for your birthday." Penelope explains giving JJ a soft smile, one that warmed her heart even more each time she saw it.

"I'd love to Pen." JJ says, smiling. Penelope's smile gets wider and she goes back to the door.

"I'll see you then" She says and with that she leaves the room.

Later at the bar.

JJ hadn't drank to the point where she was completely and utterly wasted but she was a bit tipsy. She was on the dance floor, dancing with a few other women here and there. To say the least, Penelope was jealous because not only did JJ have a major crush on Penelope, Penelope had one on JJ too but they were both too blind to see it. JJ was wearing high-waisted,tight, black jeans, a cute black crop top and some high heels and Penelope LOVED it on her. After 20 minutes of dancing, JJ came back to the table for another drink and as it turned out, Penelope was the only one left at the table. Emily and Aaron were dancing together, Morgan was trying to talk Reid into finding a girl, and Dave, well Dave had left a while ago....with Strauss.

"You look amazing tonight Jay." Penelope said shyly. JJ smiled. They stood it a comfortable silence (well between them it was silent, the club was loud on the other hand) and after a few minutes of it, JJ could feel her inching closer to Penelope. Suddenly, JJ's lips crashed onto hers. They both embraced the kiss, only pulling away when air became a necessity.

"I've been hoping you'd do that for a while now." Penelope said while smiling. JJ just smiled and kissed her once more. This was just the beginning of an amazing relationship, much better than the one JJ had been in before.
