But just as she is about to say...

"Ah?!"

She catches sight of the time and becomes startled.

"Waah! Is that the time already?"

(The time..?Oh!)

I look at the clock too and...

"M-Miyoko We have to get to class!"

"I know! Let me hitch a ride on the back of your scooter!"

"Okay!"

We leave the dining table just as the conversation was turning serious and hurriedly get ready for class.

"I don't think you're in trouble of being late for class just yet..." said Yomiko.

"You are leaving quite early." Worried Rei

"Yeah! We have things to do today!" Miyoko replied enthusiastically.

Which left both of them puzzled.

"Alright I'm ready, let's go Mina."

"Right."

I fly out the front door of the Famille' with Miyoko, thinking to myself.

(but, it's true...)

(She had changed a little since we started going out..)

That's because...

We both arrive at college on my scooter. She dismounts with a jump onto the ground.

"We're here!"

"Thanks for the lift, Mina!"

"Don't mention it."

"Okay then, Miyoko..."

"Good luck with your morning track and field training."

"Thanks!"

This is how she has changed since we started dating. By joining the track and field team and facing her personal trauma.

(She had some bad memories from track and field in the past...)

Because of the resulting trauma she lost the interstate track and field tournament but now...

The change in her occurred just a few days after we started dating.

That day we were both returning home together as usual.

"Hey, Mina..."

"Hm?"

"There's something I want your advice on."

"What is it?"

"Well, i..."

"I think I'll take a trial membership on the track team."

"The track team?"

I was so taken by surprise that I had to stop walking.

"There's a tournament coming up, you see..."

"And I want to practice so I can enter."

"And the team asked me to join, even if it is only temporary."

"You should go for it."

"J-just like that?" she wondered.

"Y-you're not gonna stop me, we're still on the photography club you know, and if I end up joining I will leave that club."
