Chapter 5.

....Surprise?

(Keyana is Kristen and Tristan's mother's name)

Keyana's Pov

*2 weeks later*

I sat in the car with my mate Michael and the Alpha Barrett and his mate Charlotte. We were making our way back to the pack house the ball had ended a week earlier than expected because of an unexpected rogue attack.

*Flashback from the ball*

I was sitting at the table with my wonderful husband, our Alpha, and Charlotte having a peaceful dinner, the ball room was absolutely stunning.
"Would you like to dance, my queen?" Alpha Barrett asked his mate Charlotte with his hand extended towards her. She smiled at him and took his extended hand and soon disappeared from my eyesight.

Michael looked at me with a sexy smirk before getting up and grabbing my hand and dragging me towards the dance floor. I smiled at him before he planted a passionate kiss on my lips. I loved this man with all my heart and nothing could ever change that.

"You look stunning" said Michael

I laughed before replying

"Thank you, for the eleventh time tonight"

He smiled at me, he and I really needed some time away from the kids and I'm glad we could have this time just to ourselves, with Kristen mad at me and Tristan ignoring him we needed some space apart from them.

"You're welcome, honey for the eleventh time tonight" He said with a laugh

"Tonight is perfect, I'm glad we came" I said with a smile

"So am I" He replied before smashing his lips on mine.

The kiss was filled with hunger and lust with my tongue and his tongue fighting for control, he grabbed my waist before pulling apart, and looking at me with hunger filled eyes and I looked back at him my eyes filled with lust.

I grabbed his hand and started leading him back to the room, before we could even make it to the door we hear windows shattering only to be face to face with a rouge, and not just any rouge, the rouge that every pack was after and afraid of,

Alexander Black.

Micheal's Pov

I step in front of my mate as we come face to face with Alexander, he has a creepy smile on his face and is staring at my mate.

I growled at him as I punched him in his face. He quickly recovers as he grabs me by the throat, squeezing at the right pressure.

"Long time no see brother" he said with a wicked grin

"Bro-ther" I barely breathe out

He continues to squeeze me by the throat until Keyana catches him off guard by punching him in the face and kicking him in his groin. He groans and falls to the ground as me and Keyana run. I quickly mind link the alpha and tell him to meet us at the car.

We continue running until we reach the car and when we do, we find the Alpha and Charlotte already in the car. We quickly get in and we drive back home. As we drive to go back home, I realize we have 3 hours in front of us so I closed my eyes and started to fall asleep in the arms of my mate.

*End of Flashback*

Keyana's Pov

*3 hours later*

I look up from my sleeping mate to see that we have arrived back home, i look at the alpha and see that his eyes are fogged over, he's mind linking someone. I wait until his eyes are back to normal before speaking

"Alpha, thank you for inviting us tonight and I'm so sorry about my mates brother" I say feeling ashamed of my brother in-law or whatever I should call that beast.

"Your welcome and it's fine, Alexander has always had it for me, he just has a reason now. Go to sleep, we will continue this conversation tomorrow in my office" he says while looking at his sleeping mates figure in the passenger seat .

I nod and opened the door and stepping out before slapping my mate across the head.

"Get up so we can go to sleep in the room" I say with a yawn

I hear him groan and then silently say incoherent words under his breathe at me, I turn around and kiss his forehead before turning back around. He speed up and went towards the pack house door and opening it for me with a smile. I laugh and walk inside before hearing my husband's loud voice booming in the house

"Children, your parents have returned, please come down and love us" says Micheal with a bored expression

He only gets weird whens he really tired so you must know he's exhausted. I roll my eyes at him before climbing the steps.

If the kids were home they wouldn't have answered because of his response, they think just because we're their parents we can't be weird .

Kids these days could be so rude.

I go to Kristen's room knowing she'll be there, I walk into the room not bothering to knock, I mean this is my house so I could do whatever I want ... Well my mate and I's but whatever...

I look around her room to find her not in it, weird....

Where could she be? it isn't like she has social life so she couldn't be out.

I sighed and make my way to Tristan's room, my husband right be my side, I smile at that.

I burst open the door to my sons room only for the smile to drop off my face and my eyes widened on the sight in front of me.

Tristan and Kristen my children were currently soundly asleep, Kristen on the bed and Tristan half on the bed and other half on the ground.

I smiled before I decided to join them on the bed, my mate following soon after. I soon fell asleep in my mates arms with a smile on my face...

So much for a surprise..
