After Mr. Anderson had fired me for talking on the phone I decided to go straight to Light of Dawn to see Ally, light of dawn is a house where I help the kids that cannot help themselves or have no place to stay. I started this project as a way to remember my mom because I know she used to love helping children. As I was deep in thought someone tap my back, I turn around and find Megan smiling at me.

"Hey Meg," I greet the lady little angel.

"Hey Lay, I miss you," she said to me.

"Megan, you saw me two days ago"

"I know but that feels like forever, " she said in a sad tone

"I know, but guess what?"

"You staying with us today" she said cheerfully

"Yes I am and I'm making dinner" I said in that same cheerful tone

"Yayyyyyyy, do I get to help?" She asked

"No, love go play with the kids and I'll get you all when I'm done. Deal!"

"Deal" she said running the opposite direction

As I way make my way into the kitchen my phone started to ring, I see it's an unknown number so I ignore the call and head to the kitchen. Today I'm making the kids some mashed potatoes, green beans, and salmon since I know they love my salmon. As I'm preparing the salmon my phone ring again and it is that same unknown number so once more I declined the call and keep on cooking.

30 minutes later I'm done cooking and everyone is eating their food and telling me how they love when I cook for them. I started this right after I turn 18, after I met Lana and Dave wondering round the street with no where to go.

Few years hours later, I'm getting ready to go home my phone started to ring and from Mr Anderson Sr.

"Hey Patrick" I greeted my former boss

"Patrick, put the phone on speaker so I can I can talk to Layla" I heard Eva say in the background

"Woman, can you let me handle this" Patrick told his wife

I chuckle lightly

"Layla, I heard about what happened and I know my son can be hard headed and impulsive but I need you to come back" Eva said to me

"Eva, seems like you don't know me at all. I planned on going back tomorrow," I told her

"But my son said he's been trying to call you but you wasn't picking up." She told me

"I know, I didn't know the number and I was with the kids," I told her

"I know I'm not supposed to be talking on the phone while at work but it was Jess and I had to answer" I told them since they know the situation with me and Jess.

"I understand, we know you have other stuff to worry about. I'll have a talk with my son" Patrick told me

"It's okay Patrick, don't say anything to him. I'll just see him tomorrow" I told him

"Rightttt. Hey listen Layla come have dinner with us Sunday" he told me

"Around what time?" I ask him

"Seven" Eva answer

"Alright, I'll see you guys Sunday" I said and hang up the phone and head home

By the time I reach my apartment it was already 8 and Bayley was doing her homework on the couch while chewing on something

"Hey sis, where have you been?" She asked me

"Hey hun, I was with the kids. Sorry I didn't call!" I apologize to her

"It's okay, I was just wondering that's all!" She told me and went back to finish her work and went to my room to shower

After my shower I went over some emails from my aunt, some from my other company, and the rest were meeting I had to confirm for Jared Anderson. Next I started organizing the party for Anderson and Co. By the time I figure out the theme it was already two in the morning so I decided to call it a night and get some sleep.

Ring ring ring my alarm started going off, I checked my phone and see it was 4:30 so I head for a quick shower and get ready to head to work. This time I decided to put my hair down instead of a bun. I put on a black pantsuit with a red long sleeve and match that with my red bottom. I head into the kitchen and left Bayley a note since I know she still sleeping and I'm not trying to wake her then got in my car and head to work.

By the time I reach the building it was already 5:45 so I head into my office which was a mess and I know it organized after my so call getting fired yesterday. Still I organize everything and I went over some documents that needed to be sign. As I'm making a list of what Mr Anderson needed to do today, he barged into my office angrily, glaring at me .

"Good morning mr Anderson" I said smiling at him

"I fired you" he said angrily

"Oh really, you did. When?" I ask him playing dumb

"Don't get smart with me ms Jackson" he warn

"Or else what, you gone fire me again?" I ask him

"You know what, don't answer that. Anyway I have some documents I need you to sign and I need us to over the party for next week", I told him in a business like.

He looks at me stunned and at a loss for words.

Finally he said, " ok, but we're not done with this" and walks out.

"Of course we're not" I said sarcastically and went to do my work.
