"Oh, you wanted fire? I'm sorry. My specialty is ice."

Vain. Confident. Witty.
A true slytherin princess-
Not a princess; more like a queen.

"Blair Avery." Professor Snape cleared his throat before dragging out the letters with his tongue.
"Stay right there." His monotone voice causes the girl to roll her eyes before she turns to face the glare of her head of house.

Ronald Weasley, a stupid gryffindor in Blair's opinion, nudges one of his friends and sniggers. Blair was about to give him a piece of her mind but decided against it for now. If she was in trouble, she didn't want to make things worse.

Most people in this position would be terrified. Blair didn't know what Snape wanted. Yet, she wasn't afraid in the slightest. She flips her silky dark hair behind her and leans on the desk, playing with a loose strand between her slender fingers.

As the other students filter out of the classroom, some of Blairs friends hover by the door. She raises an eyebrow to Draco Malfoy, who shrugs his shoulders in response.

Snape strides towards Blair's group of admirers, giving most of them the hint to leave. Draco shuffles his feet nervously, glancing between Blair and his professor.

"Leave, Malfoy." Snape seems to frown even more than usual as he drags Draco by the collar and slams the door, leaving him helpless as he scurries away.

"So.." Blair clicks her tongue and observes the cold, depressing classroom.

Snape snaps his head and steps towards her, his eyes narrowing.
"Off the desk." He snarls.

Slowly, she rolls her eyes and moves towards her teacher. "Why am I here?" She questions, matching his icy tone.

Looking down his abnormally large nose at her, he clears his throat before finally getting to the point. "Your father has asked me to give you extra tuition."

"Brilliant." The girl jeers with a sarcastic smile.

"... in defence against the dark arts." Snape continues.

Blair lets a snigger escape her lips.

Opening the door with a swift wave of his wand, Snape turns his back on his student. "I will contact you by owl to let you know the dates. I trust you can make it." He states without even bothering to look at her.

"I can't wait, professor." She winks as she strides out the classroom.

As she climbs up the stairs muttering to herself about how unnecessary her private lessons with Snape were, she finds her small body colliding with something solid. All she can see is a flash of orange as she attempts to kick and punch her way out.

"Bloody hell, calm down." An all too familiar voice complains. In a panic at hearing who it is, Blair kicks even harder.

"Ow!" A certain firey haired boy grabs her wrists.

"Get off me, you creep."

"Stop attacking me then, you bloody psycho." He yells, pushing her away.

"Oh, go do one, Weasley. And by the way, try not to block the corridor next time." She glares at him, adjusting her robes and stroking her hair.

"Pay attention instead of talking to yourself, weirdo." He sulks as Blair barges past him.

Great. Now she was in an even better mood.

Storming into the Slytherin common room, she slams the door and throws herself into an armchair.

"Blair!" Draco comes rushing over and puts an arm around her slender shoulder. "What happened? Are you okay?" His grip tightens but she shoves him off.

"I'm going to bed." She declares and walks away, her face showing no emotion.
